On my account, the time zone is set to GMT +0:00 instead of the Eastern time zone, where I live. I've looked for several minutes and haven't been able to find a way to change it. Am I just being stupid, or has this ability not been implemented yet?

Users may now change their local time zone by clicking the Profile -> Edit Forum Profile link in the upper navigation.

Due to the nature of the Time Zone setting, you will need to select the nearest city in your time zone.

Try using the Time Zone, 'Kolkata' under Asia. This should give you UTC + 5:30. (The reason behind using Kolkata for UTC +5:30 is due to the fact the time zone offset is used here year-round).

It might be more helpful if one could see the time offset as well.

I will see if I can modify the script behavior to add the GMT time offset next to each city name.
