How do I disable being able to view where gems are (e.g.) without disabling everything else (timer, number of gems I have, if I currently have a powerup, etc.)? I might have some more questions later.

The thing that shows you where the gems are is the radar, and you can toggle that by default with the tab button. It goes through a few different modes and one of them is fully off

If you’re playing a game where the gem location is showing up and you want to hide that but still see other things like the timer and power-ups, try checking the HUD settings in the options menu. Most games will have an option to toggle specific UI elements on or off. If you can’t find anything there, sometimes adjusting the game’s config files works for fine-tuning the UI to hide just certain details. I had to do something similar for a couple of games, and it made the screen a lot less cluttered without losing the important stuff like the timer or power-ups.

PQ has a setting for toggling the UI on or off as well, but by default it isn't actually bound to any key. It used to be bound to Y by default. When playing a level, it would default to full UI. Then you could press Y to hide the chat online, and Y again to hide all UI, then Y a third time to restore to default. It would be great to make sure PQ ships with that function bound to Y in future updates.
