I was building my level and finished the BETA version of my MP level

I went over to File > Save as > .map file as shown below

I saved the map to the recourse folder with the textures and all. MBMap2Dif and the Level.map is circled below...

I opened it up with MBMap2Dif and this is what came up

I was wondering what was the Texture "MB".
I don't even have that texture.
After that *During ingame* Aaryl told me if I was saving this with the Map2Dif Plus process.

I told him no but I tried it and it is shown below the pictures of what happened

During Export...

After Export (Circled part is the MB texture thingy

I exported it to my desktop and the MB thingy I had no idea what it was. But for some reason I have the textures that were in the level also exported. (BTW if anyone was wondering, my background is from a creepypasta game so don't mind that xP)

I put all of the things circled below (even the dif) into the folder for the MP interiors

Ingame I open up mission template and I try to open the interior up. The Before part is when I clicked it. After is what happened when it should show up.

Can someone please help me, I don't know what went wrong at all. Even the Map2Dif Plus thing didn't work.

You may want to actually add the images.

Hi,

Though there's a lack of images in your original post, it sounds like you're using a texture that cannot be found in your directory when attempting to convert the .map file to a .dif interior. But, if you claim to be able to open up the interior in-game, then it's skipping over something to allow the conversion of the file. I haven't used Constructor, so I'm not entirely certain on how the software works, but I would guess there is a misaligned texture or a misaligned face somewhere on the map that isn't converting properly (Again, this is all guesswork since I can't see any of your images at the time of posting this response).

Are you using any custom textures, or simply the ones found exclusively in the Marble Blast Platinum Multiplayer Resources kit? Any outside textures may not work properly with interior files, and we cannot guarantee support for third party textures in custom level files.

I would love it if you could fix your image references so we could see them and provide further assistance :). Are there any Constructor gurus out there that may be able to provide some assistance based on the description in the original post?

Sorry about the images. For some reason the message thingy glitched out and the pictures aren't in the message so I might post a Message on here for the pictures
[HR]
Just like the guy on the top, Message thing glitched out and removed he pictures so I will make a message in this forum with the pictures of the problem
[HR]
1. I for some reason can only put 5 images on the messages

2. I saved them into the recourse kit and used the marbleblastmap2dif file with it and it gave me the message saying [Missing Texture "MB"].

Also I might need help trying to get the images into the thing because this is the first time this has happened. All my other levels have never gotten this thing and worked for me.

Hrm..The forums should not be restricting the number of images that are included with a user's post. I will look into this issue.

The only reason why the Map2Dif script would be throwing a "missing texture" error is if a texture found in the .map file could not be located in the same directory as the .map file and the Map2Dif script. When you are converting map files, you need to ensure all of the textures AND the map file are located in the SAME directory as the Map2Dif script, otherwise it will throw a missing texture error.

If you have all of these files in the same directory (folder), then there must be some type of texture error on the map you have created. If this is the case, my best advice would be to go through each element of the .map file you've constructed and re-apply textures to all of the faces of these elements to ensure they are using textures that are available and usable by the Map2Dif script. This is a tedious process, yes, but it may be the only option if you cannot locate any polygons that look "off". If you want a quick solution, select every polygon on your map file and give it a single texture that you know will work, such as edge_white. Then try to convert the map. If that works, then it was a bad texture issue. If that still causes issues, then there's an error in either the Map2Dif script (doubtful) or the map itself has corrupted elements (missing faces, small polygons, etc).

Post back with whatever findings result from the above suggestions.

Thanks,
~Aayrl

Any word on the texturing issues? The picture above worked (hooray!) and the only thing I notice that could potentially be an issue are the corners and the curved ramp to the center of the map. Typically these are areas where textures tend to get skewed and sometimes can form faces that cannot be recognized by the Map2Dif converter. If you look closely at the wall beneath the curved ramp, it appears the texture may be skewed into some type of unrecognizable form, as I just mentioned. The rest of the level should convert without any issues, so I would check these areas first.
