How can you play custom levels in Beta 3 with the interiors? I try to play them but there's no interiors. There isn't even an interiors folder in the MBP files. (unless it's the shapes folder)

P.S. Sorry if this is a stupid question.

You need a .dif and the Interiors/Textures of the .dif to lbinteriors_custom, then you can play.

This is not really stupid question.

There isn't even an interiors folder in the MBP files.

on the platinumbeta/data, did you look interiors.zip? that is.

maybe extract the interiors.zip to the lbinteriors_custom xD

Hope helps.

Code:

There is. It's a zip. Torque can use the files in the zip file. Move the interiors into the zip and load them in MB

I found it necessary to unpack the zip files into their respective areas first, due to poor handling by the engine. If you get many red-text errors in the console at startup, then unpack the 12 zips in data, and the two zips in lbinteriors_custom. If those are not there, you may have had a corrupt download.

Otherwise, if the level still lacks interiors, open the console window, look for any red (error) text in the window, and if it references a missing interior, check your interior folder/zip to see if it exists. If it's another error, please report what it says here.

If you do not feel like playing with .zip files, you can always create a 'custom' folder inside of '\platinumbeta\data\missions' and slap your .mis files in there. For the interiors, drop them in a new folder 'interiors' inside of '\platinumbeta\data\missions\custom'. You may need to modify the .mis files to point to the new location of the interior files. You can edit .mis files with any text editor, such as Notepad. On Windows, right click the .mis file and select 'Open' or 'Open With...' and select 'Notepad'. From here, press CTRL+F (Find) and search for '.dif'. This will locate all interior references. Simply ensure these files are loaded as '~/platinumbeta/data/missions/custom/interiors/INTERIOR.dif'. Press CTRL+S to save the .mis file and load up MBP. This should work.

(Note: you do not want to add them to the 'lb_custom' folder, as this may cause some unwanted CRC errors when attempting to log into the Leaderboards.)

Post back with any results from the above suggestions, please. :)

I have a little problem. The Marble Blast Map Exporter is not compatible with MBP 1.50, which annoys me a bit, especially when doing levels with moving platforms. The Marble Blast Map Exporter placed automatically the markers and the codes, but now, I have to do it manually and it makes me waste my time.

Is there any way to fix this obnoxious problem?

You forget a thousand things everyday. Make sure Marble Blast isn't one of 'em.

I was assuming he meant the pre-existing levels, not new levels that he had created/added.

Wait, where did you get these custom levels? From the CLA? Some old levels you made in MBG? You might want to check what files aren't working and see if they reference the right path (either $usermods or platinumbeta).

The issue was that there were no interiors. So when you load a level, note the filename (ending in mis, you can see it in the console), and ANY red message text you see in the console.
