I know someone had this same problem as me, but I tried the solution (deleted marble blast from the library) and it didn't work for me. Any other suggestions? I am using a Mac OS X, version 10.9.5.

That's because Marble Blast Platinum doesn't use the library to store its settings anymore. You would need to look inside Marble Blast Platinum itself. Specifically:
In Finder, press Cmd-Shift-G, and type ~/Applications/Marble Blast Platinum.app/platinum/client/ into the box, and press Go. Then open mbpPrefs.cs in TextEdit and go to the end of the document, and set $pref::Video::fullScreen = "0"; . Setting "Resolution" to something like "1280 960 16" may possibly also work. Most importantly, save changes and delete the corresponding .dso.

That should do it. Reply back afterwords. ;)
