SUPPORT BOARD OVERVIEW & TIPS:

About Receiving Help from the Support Board: While all members may answer questions posted in the Support board, you should only rely on responses posted or confirmed by support moderators and website administrators. Any solutions provided by members of the community that are not verified by a staff member (as indicated by a light-green background) are provided as-is, and we cannot take responsibility for any of the results of said actions.

About Responding to Support Threads: If you feel you know the answer to a question, you are welcome to respond to the thread and politely offer assistance. Please be courteous and try to provide detailed and helpful solutions to users who may not be as advanced as you. We ask that you refrain from posting one-sentence solutions.

Please search for existing topics before creating one! It's quite likely someone else has already encountered a similar issue which was resolved. You can search for existing support threads by clicking here .

As some of you know (like Pro Marbler), I've been trying to port forward my router, and I don't even have a clue on how to do that. I saw the other post on port forwarding, but 1), it doesn't give all that much explanation, and 2), that topic was written 8 months ago, so it's probably before MBP 1.50 came out (not totally positive, but pretty sure). What I would really like is a good, clear explanation on doing this, so it would probably be a long reply, or maybe even a new topic just for port forwarding a router as it seems to be very complicated to do. I'm sorry to be strict about this (as I'm not close to being part of the staff in any way, so I shouldn't really be strict about this), but I would really to know this. Just in case if one needs to know, I'm on Windows (8.1), the router can be accessed from any computer in my household (computer running from Windows 7, computer running on Windows 8, or Macintosh laptop running which I'm pretty sure runs on 10.10), and my router is an Apple AirPortExtreme.

You should be able to just look it up on portforward.com. They don't have any specific guide for MB, but you can follow their default guide for airport extremes here: portforward.com/english/routers/port_for...eme/defaultguide.htm .

This signature is real code
Code:
function clientcmd12dothepq() { commandToClient(LocalClientConnection, '34onthedancefloor'); }

Hello there Rozi,

You're welcome to try the link provided by HiGuy in his post and see if you can configure port forwarding on your current setup. If you're still experiencing troubles with players being unable to connect to your server(s), send me a Private Message and we can work out a conference time over Skype or Google Hangouts where I might be able to guide you through the process.
