After I downloaded the older version of marble blast powered up, my normal marble blast gold does not work anymore. it said it needed astroids.png so I did that and when I load ANY level, the game crashes. How do I revert this?

Moved to support.

Now, if you want any real assistance, you need to provide:
-- A relevant console.log, from both MBPU (Powered Up) and MBG (Gold)
-- Your operating system (OS) brand and version (Windows 8? Mac OS X 10.9? Ubuntu Linux 14.10??)
-- What you actually did, in detail, when it asked for "astroid.png", and how you tried to fix it.

Also, you should probably stop using the older version of MBPU. It most likely has bugs which contribute to a poorer gameplay. Make sure you are playing the most recent version, as there is nothing to lose from playing it.

Does MBG store memory on my computer, not just within the application itself? because by the looks of it, it does.

MBPU works perfectly
MBG crashes
I am using Mac 10.10
Before having astroid.png:

Okay. That kinda helps. Though I'm still looking for a console.log. You should find it by pressing Cmd-Shift-G in Finder, and typing ~/Library/MarbleBlast/ and then clicking Go. (This is your user's "hidden" Library folder.) You should definitely find a console.log file (from whatever it may be), so please upload it here! The forums determine filetype by the file extension, so you may have to rename it to console.txt, or first package it as a zip file.

Judging from the crash report, I wonder... Does MarbleBlast Gold try and run a demo with MBPU's scripts accidentally loading in? If so, some demo functions might be running bad TS code, and so the game engine does weird things and crashes. Interesting, if that is the case...

I'm not sure why you're missing the star particle, however... have you ever modified the game? The particle is what appears when you finish a level (I think?), so if the imge is somehow corrupted, bad things may occur.

Try removing the astroid.png file, and copy-paste another particle image and rename it to astroid.png (it won't be the exact same, but it'll narrow things down).

Delete your entire ~/Library/MarbleBlast folder (Pro Marbler's post explains how to get there). I've had this issue before - the game stores precompiled scripts there and they can conflict with each other sometimes. Note that this may delete any times and saved data you have, so you might want to back it up first.

I renamed my MarbleBlast folder and my MBG works now... but my highscores... D:
MBPU must have screwed it up.

I transferred my scores onto the newly automatically created MBG folder and my PRECIOUS scores are now back... PROBLEM RESOLVED??

However my old MBPU is now broken D:
