I went to download MBP 1.60, and when I get the .zip, it is MBP 1.50 Launcher.
So then I click on the launcher to start it up. It says at the top "1.50 launcher." It also says the launcher is offline. It has been like this for 2 days.
So I click on "play offline" and my MBP doesn't even start up. Does anyone have a solution to this?

Hi Endy,

Are you sure you downloaded the correct launcher? The 1.60 launcher can be downloaded here.

The "1.50" launcher part confuses me. It should definitely state "Marble Blast Platinum v1.60 Launcher".

Give the download link above another try for your OS.

If you definitely installed the 1.60 launcher, then it could be caused by an issue with your internet connection. Check your internet connectivity and connection speeds. The Launcher (by design) will only display the "Launcher Offline" text if there is not an active connection to the MarbleBlast.com website. This is done to ensure the launcher can talk to our server and ensure your game client is up to date. A slow connection speed could also result in a handshake timeout with the server, causing the launcher to think it's offline even if your system is connected to an internet accessible network. You can try opening the core game directory and launching the application directly, though it's always recommended you initiate the game via the launcher.

Let me know if I can provide further assistance.

Thanks,
~Aayrl

The fact that it states "1.50 launcher" means that it was unable to connect to the website at all, and had to use the backup settings from 1.50. The only way this can happen is if Java is unable to connect to marbleblast.com (on port 80) when you start the launcher. You should check your network settings and any firewall/antivirus rules to make sure that the launcher can actually connect to the internet.

This signature is real code
Code:
function clientcmd12dothepq() { commandToClient(LocalClientConnection, '34onthedancefloor'); }

Closing this topic, as I've seen Endy online. I am going to assume the issue was a poor or nonexistent internet connection while using the Launcher.
