I made a .map in constructor, ran it through map2dif. Here is what it looks like in constructor and then once it's been turned into a dif:
imgur.com/a/Vxa9K
random bits getting chopped off everywhere. Known/solvable problem?

I also rotated everything in the .map one degree and ran it through map2dif again. the random bits chopped off were in different places but still there.

Are you using map2dif+ or the original mbgmap2dif? Whichever you're using, try using the other. Sometimes one will convert stuff that the other has issues with.

If that doesn't work, you can try cutting the centers and pasting them another map file (don't move them after cut+paste so they line up). Sometimes this works too.

This signature is real code
Code:
function clientcmd12dothepq() { commandToClient(LocalClientConnection, '34onthedancefloor'); }

map2dif_plus_mbg can have the same issues, try normal m2d, and if that doesn't work, try m2d+. They can give different results. Also check if the shapes have some weird property to them, this rarely happens to such simple shapes. Tampering with vertices is known to cause that issue

ill look for map2dif and try that; and yeah lol i know firsthand vertices jack stuff up in cubes, i never use them except when im working with triangles (so none on this map)

Another trick that sometimes works with things like this: in the Prefs tab, set your grid spacing really low (like 0.001), then enter vertex select mode, select all, and hit Quantize (it's one of the tools). Then try re-exporting. (Back up your .map before you do this!)
