For some reason, I can't record marble blast on 800x600 with 60fps. I usually get about 50. This is really starting to annoy me, as the other PC in my house has noticeably worse processor, but can record marble blast in a much higher framerate. On this computer, I can record on 800x600 and get about 120-130 fps, and on 1600x900 usually around 65-70 fps. If I try to record in 1366x768 on my main computer, I get around 20-22 fps. I have no idea what the issue is, as I've tried changing the graphics quality, and when recording change the quality to the lowest possible, and the framerate stays the same (on my main computer).

What graphics card(s) do you have the machines? You can use this program to check: www.realtech-vr.com/glview/ MBP (at least on high graphics) makes extensive use of the GPU. If you have a bad (or integrated) graphics card then MBP + recording may be too much for it to handle.
