Hi there

I just discovered this and am delighted that Marble Blast is still alive and even expanded upon :)

I downloaded the launcher but it fails at the end, when downloading core.zip. I think it might not be system independant. I extracted the core myself and tried to upon the Marble Blast exe file, but it seems corrupted.

Did anyone have the same problem? And found a solution?

Thanks for your help!

I attached a screenshot of the launcher window, since I can't copy the text in there.

Are you trying to update while the game is open? Windows won't let the launcher change any files if they're being used. If that's not the case, check the permissions on the install (press Open Game Dir and check properties of marbleblast.exe)

Unfortunately not. I did a clean install. I tried installing with the launcher in admin mode, but same result. I unchecked the Read only permissions and disabled my antivirus during install to make sure. Still, no dice. It has problems extracting the core.zip file.

Update 23.7.17: Turned out BitDefender classified Marble Blast as a virus. I had to add it to the exceptions. Case closed then :)

I don't blame BitDefender one bit.
