About Receiving Help from the Support Board: While all members may answer questions posted in the Support board, you should only rely on responses posted or confirmed by support moderators and website administrators. Any solutions provided by members of the community that are not verified by a staff member (as indicated by a light-green background) are provided as-is, and we cannot take responsibility for any of the results of said actions.

About Responding to Support Threads: If you feel you know the answer to a question, you are welcome to respond to the thread and politely offer assistance. Please be courteous and try to provide detailed and helpful solutions to users who may not be as advanced as you. We ask that you refrain from posting one-sentence solutions.

Please search for existing topics before creating one! It's quite likely someone else has already encountered a similar issue which was resolved. You can search for existing support threads by clicking here .

Hi,

Since PQ came out, I've been looking forward to playing it after completing my BA thesis.
However, when I now try to run the Launcher, the "News" Text just says:

ERROR: Unable to establish server at MarbleBlast.com.

The same sentence can be found in the "Changelog"
The "Console" Text says the following:

Exception Caught:

Could not find package listing for mod pq. The mod will not be able to be updated.

I would greatly appreciate it if any developer or member could help me with this issue / provide instructions or information on how to resolve it.
I hope I didn't create an unnecessary topic, but - so far - I could not find a similar problem report in other posts.

BTW: Java has been updated to the current version. (8)
My system specs are:
Mac OS X 10.8.5
Processor: 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5
Memory: 4 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

thanks in advance,

nM / Seb

Sounds like your version of Java is out of date. Try installing the latest version and using the launcher again.

This signature is real code
Code:
function clientcmd12dothepq() { commandToClient(LocalClientConnection, '34onthedancefloor'); }

Thanks for the idea HiGuy, Java 8 Update 144 (which is the latest version, according to the Java website) has been installed. However, even with that latest version, I still get the same error message.
