How to Abuse PlatinumQuest: Beneath the Waterfall Remake

This pretty much lags my computer, and I think I cannot add more objects due to it's laginess. In the serious note, this is what I've been wanting to do with PQ.

Okay so I'm planning to remake all of the Naturous levels from Marble Blast GLC in PQ and release the pack of 5 levels as custom levels available for download.

I feel like I'm playing Wonderland Adventures now and not marble blast.

Well I guess PQ lags so much in my computer, just like I used to experience when I was still using my old computer and FRAPS. Thanks to the new replay system that makes my life easier.

PlatinumQuest: Manic Bounce (2:36.668)

Pure RNG, pure luck, pure skillshot, pure pixel perfect, pure micro-dodging.

So this is the finale of Platinum Quest, which is pretty much very hard if you played this for the first time. It totally requires you to use all of your skills to beat this. This level is not that bad after some practice. In my opinion, this level even is getting more fun every time you get used to the challenges. The second to last part is the worst and the most difficult of all, but I luckily managed to pass that part after a try. This run is very good for me although there are still a lot of parts that can still be improved. Improving the run is easier said than done of course, especially to beat the Awesome Time.

This level reminds me a lot with my level, Ballance on the Bounce, from GLC.

At the time this video is uploaded, this run is the 5th place in the leaderboards.

PlatinumQuest Custom Level: The Utopia of Translation and Rotation (5:26.045)

My latest custom level for PlatinumQuest. This level is mainly made because I think Manic Bounce can still be harder (Well actually, PlatinumQuest can still be harder). Marble Blast levels have been made to be challenging to be speedrun'd; the levels themselves mostly are not that difficult, or even easy. As the ultimate times are so easily beatable for most levels, and I don't really have much skill to be a pro marble blaster, I made a level so that the main challenge is to beat the level itself, making the completion under PT and UT is ridiculously difficult. These kind of levels are what my style of level making, thanks to Touhou Project

Anyways, this level was heavily inspired by Devanagara (stage 5 of route pagoda) and its music, The Utopia of Steel and Oil, from Len'en 4: Brilliant Pagoda or Haze Castle, which is also used as the music in this video.

This run is still far from perfect. As I played through the levels over and over again, I managed to found some good methods to pass the challenges. With some practice, the level may be able to be completed perfectly. Similar with Manic Bounce, this level is getting more fun the more I played this. This is my fourth time completing this level.

And still, the recording is still buggy, especially at the gem counter near the end of the run (at the last two sections before the finish). The moving platforms are also buggy, which I just realize now.
