After spending nearly a week on this, I finally finished my GMBGMM speedrun! Lots of edge-hits, low times, and new paths in this video!

Everyone knows how hard it is to concentrate in playing Marble Blast and uploading videos while school is going on.

My next compilation is finally out!! This is probably my best video yet!

Amazing job! I was especially impressed by Hoops (third place!) and Pathways (you managed the fourth and fifth gems at once). And if you master the natural bounce you'll be claiming IC records faster than Frostfire can beat Nobody. Keep them coming!

Thanks NF! Also these levels were played with my laptop, which does not have as good of an IC as my desktop (which gets 250-300 FPS instead of 85-100 FPS, but was too big for me to bring to my dorm). So I might try again at the IC levels in a few months when I return home at the end of the semester

And it's finally here! My next compilation of Marble Blast Gold levels improves many levels from previous videos but also features a few levels which have never appeared on my channel before. My current goal is to lower my total time for all 100 levels of Marble Blast Gold, and I have now achieved a total of 16:51.042. I also improved my beginner total significantly, achieving a total time of 2:18.634.

Notes:

Collect the Gems: I decided that I could easily improve my 9.20 run from last year. Although I beat my old time in about 5-10 minutes, it would take me several hours to get a sub-9.

Jump Training: I used the starting jump pattern from m2mm4m's video, and I was able to reduce my previous record by ~0.25 seconds.

Shock Absorber: This run uses a different start pad trick; I don't start rolling until between 'Set' and 'Go' so that I will have less spin during the descent and can reach the finish faster. This trick allowed me to finally get a sub-3 on this level.

Pitfalls: At first I could only get 11.xx runs on this level, but I figured out that you can get faster times by rotating the camera before doing the wall-hit.

Winding Road: At first I thought it would be easy to improve my 10.36 from last year, but it was actually very difficult for me to improve. I finally got this after hundreds of attempts.

Grand Finale: Even though this is the same path as my 31.69 run from 6 months ago, I was able to shave off an entire second using smooth maneuvers.

Monster Speedway Qualifying: Still can't do Kalle's 15.xx path, but I was able to get a sub-17 with good timing on the super speeds.

Shock Drop: Usually I get 4.2x on this level, so I was surprised to get a time this low.

Pinball Wizard: Much faster than my old video from mid-2015. I reach the time travels much more quickly and still finish without the clock restarting.

Under Construction: This run is just insane. I was originally planning on using the trim edge-hit for a 2.7x or 2.8x, but I found that doing the world record edge hit off the wooden square tile was actually easier than the original route. I almost fell off three or four times in this run and barely made it to the finish in time, but I ultimately prevailed and got a 2.54.

Darwin's Dilemma: I had a 6.02 recorded, but then I saw that the video was ruined by nonstop flickering. So I spent about 5 hours re-recording this level to beat this time and finally get the sub-6. This was a very difficult run because I needed to get a perfect edge hit to beat my time.

King of the Mountain: I barely missed the top 10 for this level, but I was able to improve my time by nearly 0.3 seconds from my previous run.

Here's another short compilation that includes many improvements on levels that I had featured on my channel in previous videos. While some of these runs use minor tweaks to get low times, others use completely different paths from my old runs. This is also the first video on my channel to feature Ski Slopes and Great Divide Revisited.

Take the High Road: I decided to improve my run from MBG Levels 3, and I got this run after about 30 minutes. I then tried to beat it for about an hour, but I failed to get faster than this. At least I got in the top 10.

Half-Pipe: This run is nearly a second faster than the video that started off my channel. I got the time travel faster and nearly finished without time restarting.

Spork in the Road: Not much different from my path from MBG Levels 3, but I improved my time by ~1.2 seconds. I added in some tweaks to descend the slopes faster while still getting all the time travels.

Half Pipe Elite: The main difference between this and the video in MBG Levels 1 is that I used the super speed in midair to get to the last super speed and gem faster.

Great Divide Revisited: This run was very tough for me to do because I needed to both edge hit and traplaunch in the same run. My trap was a bit high, but I still got a sub-10.

Will o' the Wisp: Completely different path than MBG Levels 1. This path was used in Blasted Marble's MBL 30 and in a few videos by Powerjohn25.

Plumber's Portal: This run was annoying to do because it is hard to get the super jump and fall into the second green tube quickly.

Siege: This path was used in the 2010 SDA update. Might be able to reach the launcher 1 cycle earlier, but it would be very difficult.

Ski Slopes: I decided I should easily be able to improve my 2.24, so I worked on getting a low TT catch. This run collects all three time travels and finishes without the clock restarting.

Admirable runs! You will get top five in MBG in no time!
