Hello.
I recently made a YouTube account for all of my Marble Blast videos that I want to upload. I have uploaded two so far and am working on a third, so I thought I would post them here. Most likely, however, this topic will not go very far until I become better at this game—I haven't even finished all of MBP yet. Anyway, here are two videos for your amusement. My apologies that none of my videos will have sound, as the screen recorder that I am using (QuickTime Player) does not capture sound outputted by applications. I also decided not to add music because my music tastes are different from most other people's (I love classical music), so I think that most people would be displeased by the music that I would choose; on the other hand, I would be displeased if I had to choose a song that I thoroughly despised. So I left it neutral, and I hope that that will work out nicely.

I just realized that the FP after Rozi means Flaming Phoenix and not Fragile Person. Darn, I was wrong.
I hope that people will come to know me as having the Earth marble, just as Regislian has the underwater marble and Eguy has the water marble. However, I can't change it in MBG because it only displays a reflection of the sky as the marble skin. Maybe I will have to turn environment mapping off. Okay, the Earth marble works in MBG with environment mapping off, and it did not desync even on my Breezeway .rec, so I think it will be fine if I use the Earth marble for future WRs, if any.

Are you sure you installed the marble right?
Check for these things:

  • Your marble skin is called "base.marble.png" (without the quotes)
  • The dimensions of the file of your skin is either 256x256, 256x512, or 512x512

    • That may help.

    Forgot to reply here. You have some really good runs, most of them beat my PBs. Though you lack a bit on the harder levels like taba and GF. Over-all very good runs, you even got top 10 beginner time.

    Also Pitfalls, I didn't go the opposite direction immediately after the sign hit, I would have gotten sub 11 probably if I had. And thank you very much! I did not know that i had top ten, although There and Back Again, Pitfalls, and Grand Finale could definitely be improved.

    Great videos! You're grand finale run was awesome.

    for music, I suggest C418 either minecraft soundtracks or bandcamp. it is good for many people (i also love classical music, but i play oboe not piano)

    Well, I have been working on the Platform Party traplaunch for a long time, and nothing else that close has happened yet.
    I will re-upload my beginner run with Shock Absorber, There and Back Again, and Pitfalls updated. Also, it will be in 1080p this time, instead of 720p, so you will be able to read the chats. Some of them are pretty funny, like in Winding Road.

    I would totally do that if I could. Are there any sound capturing programs for Mac?
    And yes, with my beginner run, for some reason the quality wasn't too good. With an iMovie update this issue was fixed, so I will re-upload it with a few updates.

    Open Broadcaster Software is a great solution. It can record high quality, it can record sound, it's easy to use, and it's free! Another available option is Camtasia 2 , and it's even better than Open Broadcaster Software in my opinion, but the main problem is that it's $100 (fine, $99.99), so I would only make this purchase if you chose to be committed to YouTube.

    You can always put music in your video. I used to just add one of youtube's free songs when I made videos a few years ago, better than no sound.

    I tried OBS, but it doesn't work well on Mac. I could just do classical music, but I don't think that would go over too well with the majority of the community, and I wouldn't want to put something in there that I didn't like.

    Any sound is better than none at all. Plus, I think it's safe to say that a lot of people actually enjoy classical music, myself included.

    Since when did all MB videos need to be accompanied by hard rock and dubstep? These are your videos. Stylize them to reflect you! :)
