All of the skyboxes have now been completed, and a different skybox for each difficulty.

Here is a shot for the Day skybox, now seen in the Beginner category.
Isn't that sky and water reflection beautiful?

And here is a shot for the Sunset skybox, now seen in the Intermediate category. Small islands are now around the skybox. Now, isn't that a shiny sun reflection?

Now, here's one for the 'Glacier' skybox, found in the Advanced category. They really do look like glaciers!

And finally, now we have a Night skybox, shown in the Expert category. Tiny islands surround your view.

Thanks for looking at the new skyboxes!
So, please give me your opinions!

IMO Having a variation of 4 different skyboxes set in different places is cool. Beginner levels should have 1 sky (morning water), intermediate 1 sky (noon xxxx theme), advanced 1 sky (afternoon mountains) and expert 1 sky (evening xxxx theme).

The above look great too!

Edit: or 4 randomly selected skyboxes for the 4 categories so that each difficulty has all 4 skyboxes at one point or another... but I still prefer the top idea.

I tend to prefer the top idea too.

Wow, looking great on those! The mountain skybox gives Dragged Up! a whole different feel, not sure if I like the mountain theme tho as I thought we were going to make variations of the up in the clouds theme...

tbh, I'm not sure on the mountain skybox. It would look better and more 'hot' if I slightly changed the sky colour.
How about this? (picture)

Better, but doesn't change my opinion on the mountain skybox... just doesn't look good with mbp levels imo.

But we don't want to overuse the water either, coz if we do 4 skyboxes about water it's too damn ugly. Water for one skybox and 3 different themes. Perhaps the Mountain Skybox needs a different sky... Anyway, I still love the current one and should be given a go. What do the rest think of the mountain skybox anyway...?

I'll post an example of a sunset water skybox, and see what you all think. Really, I just think the water creates more 'emotion'.

Sunset water is better than morning water but honestly phil, there should be different themes.. Water and mountains ain't the only ones

Ok, all codes replaced

Now we have:

materialList = ~/data/skies/Expert/Expert_Sky.dml;

materialList = ~/data/skies/Advanced/Advanced_Sky.dml;

materialList = ~/data/skies/Intermediate/Intermediate_Sky.dml;

materialList = ~/data/skies/Beginner/Beginner_Sky.dml;

materialList = ~/data/skies/Bonus/Bonus_Sky.dml;

The expert lvls now feature a 'night' feel to the lvls with the new sun codes

My opinion: 100/10

Wow is all I can say...

They could have a wider variety, though.

I think Ian's referring to the fact that all the skyboxes use water, and that more terrains should be used. IMO, I think the skies are fine as they are.
