I (finally) got the chance to change the mud in Diamond Seeking Fun into ice
Here it is: (link to some place that doesn't exist anymore and shouldn't worry you but you still don't need to know it)
It also contains a .mis file. The little slopes which hold the gems, are taken out (the gems aren't taken out!). I have lowered the gems down to where they should be

I can't convert it with Learning the Spin, because I can not find the .map file
In that case, we could put Learning the Spin into Director's Cut, but make it include the mud texture. Would that be fine?

I'll make another level similar to LTS, but I hope it will be more fun, better designed and with some moving platforms I'll call it Surface Control
It'll come out soon (trust me Matan )

1) Thank god
2) Let me think about that. We will need a new mud texture if we approve of that and of course, I need to approve of that in our case, because then only Director's Cut levels can have mud in them.
3) Looking forwards to it. I hope it WILL come out soon

I think we'd need a new mud texture

I'm on it. Oh, and Take a Stroll uses mud too.

But all Mud levels got to Director's Cut. Let me add this to the list of friction surfaces.

Couldn't we just draw an ice texture, and give it the same name as the mud texture? Then we wouldn't have to change all those levels.

I finished the new mud texture and put it on FTP. Whoa! A muddy tile! That's something you don't see everyday!

Oy, we forgot to tell Ian. MBP DC won't have mud Actually... [looks at MMG] we might be able to squeeze it in... Phil, forget LTS and TAS, we'll let them be mud.

Wait, what? So, mud will be used in MBP, but just for those two levels? Okay, but who says we still can't use my texture?

Alright I have a few new problems in your new version of Diamond Seeking Fun.

The first is the gem that is straight ahead from the start. I would center that on the platform and lower it just a bit.

The second is the gem inside the thing that slopes up then inward (you know what I am talking about, right) which is also on the bottom floor and that gem needs to be lowered just a bit also.

I personally liked the other one better. Just change the texture give it the same name. Redirect it to a new mud texture that is .01 different and let us all be happy.

For the last time, no MBP level will have mud in it. I am still waiting on Phil to recreate Take a Stroll... and Spin Practice into ice

What I am saying will fix that. you know in the init.cs just change the bottom where the texture are so it takes Ice instead then change the PIC

Or make the mud texture look the same as the ice one, and change it's friction to match ice in init.cs. The only difference is that there'll be a mud.jpg that looks like ice.

That's what I would suggest.
