BUUUUUUUMP!

This got deaded again, but I decided to revive it.

The answer to that last puzzle was B. Don.Gato was the first to get it right.

Final scores of those sets of puzzles:
Scores:
Don.Gato - 11 (+1) <---- Winner
Oaky - 3
iCometBlue - 3
Andrew - 3
William - 2
Tech Warrior - 1
Kurt - 1
Kwill15 - 1

I will however restart the puzzle no. to 1, and reset the scores.
Rules:
I will post a puzzle, and people will try to solve it. If the puzzle remains unsolved, I will give hints after 24hrs, 48hrs and a big hint on 72hrs.
The puzzles will be rated as Easy, Medium or Hard.
Solving an Easy puzzle will give you 1 point.
Solving a Medium puzzle will give you 2 points.
Solving a Hard puzzle will give you 3 points.

Scores:
Everyone: el zilcho (zero).

An easy puzzle to start you off.

Puzzle 1 - The Broken Window

A window has been smashed. You have rounded up four suspects, A, B, C and D, and let them say their statements.
From these statements, who smashed the window?

A: I didn't do it.
B: A is telling the truth, and I didn't smash it either.
C: D is lying.
D: B didn't do it.

C, because (assuming they said that in order) he said that D lied before he said anything

MegaMarbler is correct! C was so desperate to pass on the blame he accused D of lying before he even said anything!

Scores:
MegaMarbler: 1 (+1)

Puzzle 2 - Birds on a Wire - Medium
I'm trying to shoo off some birds on a power line. When I clap to scare them off, half of them fly away, but one always comes back, this pattern repeats over and over.

How many birds were on the power line to start with?

Puzzle 4 - Coat Mix-Up

In the park, four children were playing until they realised they had to quickly go back home.
However, in their haste, they all picked up the wrong coats!

A: I forgot my coat...
B: This coat has A's name in it!
C: I didn't bring my coat, and I'm wearing one right now!
D: This... is not my coat.

Who's wearing D's coat?

Correct! For completion, B was wearing A's coat, and as C did not bring his own coat, that meant that D was wearing B's coat and that C was wearing D's coat.

Scores:
Don.Gato: 3 (+1)
Andrew: 2
MegaMarbler: 1

Note to self: Why do I always forget to rate the puzzles? *rage at self*

Puzzle 5 - The Mis-sculpted Date - EASY (omg I rated it )

A stone sculpture, a fountain with a bowl to keep water, was created to commemorate a village, founded 50 years ago. However, the sculptor sculpted the wrong date on the fountain. The villagers had to deal with this erroneous sculpture until someone realised that converting it a certain way would show the right date!
On which date was the village founded?
Answer in DD/MM form.

The sculpture date reads 12/08.

Edit: Edited the puzzle desc. to make it less vague.

Hint: The fountain bowl is currently empty when it reads 12/08. However, if the bowl were to be filled with water, this may affect what the numbers read.

Hint (to end all hints ): If the fountain bowl was filled with water, the top half of the number would still be visible, whereas the bottom part of the number would by submerged. Think how reflecting would come into play with water.

Sorry for the large delay.

Andrew is correct! My fail desc. probably screwed up the puzzle rating, making it way harder than it should be. Whoops.

Scores:
Don.Gato: 3
Andrew: 3 (+1)
MegaMarbler: 1

Next puzzle is actually intended to be hard this time

Number Chain - Hard

There's a pattern to these seemingly random number chain.
What number should go into the space with the question mark?

16 > 37 > 58 > ? > 145 > 42 > 20 > 4 > 16 etc etc. (round cycle)

Quick hint: Treat each digit of a number as a separate entity.

Close, MegaMarbler. Hint: Try to find a rule that uses the digits from one number to create the next number in the cycle.

Sorry MegaMarbler, Andrew is correct!
The formula is: [first number]^2 (+ [second number]^2) = next number

Scores:
Andrew: 6 (+3)
Don.Gato: 3
MegaMarbler: 1

Another hard puzzle ftw!

Puzzle 6 - The Card Tournament - Hard

Some people meet for a round-robin card tournament, where every person plays every other person once.
Wallace has to leave after a few hands, sitting out the remainder of the tournament.
A total of 59 hands are played at the tournament.
How many hands did Wallace play before leaving?

The card game in question is a two-player game, and no person played the same opponent more than once.
No one sat out any hands besides Wallace.

Although there are multiple answers, you said he played only a few games implying that the lowest answer is correct.

Nice one Don.Gato! I was aware there was several answers but the lowest amount of games Wallace could of played is 4, provided there were 12 people at the tournament.
