Shutting down the forums - PLEASE READ

Well,I want to see the new website and get MBP 1.50

According to that post, all of the forums are closed tomorrow for the new site.

Will we still be able to log into the forums, or visit it?

Yes, you can still visit and post on the shoutbox.

Just to make sure, it doesn't matter if my email is set to private, right?

Correct, as I'm able to see all e-mails and therefore when we migrate I'll be giving it all to aayrl and he'll run it through scripts so we can send the e-mails.

Wait, I misunderstood, this website will still be up even after we all migrate to the new site

As the move to the new website is occurring, you will find many parts of the forums being disabled from being able to post in.
This will occur in two parts:
- The first part takes down the majority of the forums.
- Second part is the rest of the forums. This will become effective starting 2nd January 6:00PM US EST.

Just so everyone is aware here, I had just copied our member list. If you are changing your e-mail on your profile to your current one, please PM it to me instead.

Imagine if someone who hasn't checked the forums in a long time and had no idea we were moving to a new site came on today and saw the title of this thread...

I'm happy and sad at the same time. I'm gonna miss this site. But I'm pumped for the new one! See you guys there.

Would all members including the one's who are banned from this one be allowed to use that site or not?

A few banned members will continue being banned (rest of bans dropped).
The advantage of the new website system is that banned members can view and use the new site perfectly fine, but will not be able to use certain features. For example they will not be able to post on the forums, but will be able to read posts.
