Also highly suggest getting a twitter.

I am a programmer. Most here know me for being one of the major contributors to Marble Blast Platinum and PlatinumQuest.

If you guys aren't checking the twitter out, you should. We are working on making constant updates as we progress, and we definitely have a few things up already, such as screenshots from the new shader engine.

I've seen a few weird screenshots on there of some really bad MBG-looking textures tagged as PlatinumQuest, which I find to be amusing. Are you guys implying that PQ all along was just a recolor of Gold?

The weird MBG screenies were early stuff with the shader engine, we tagged as #PlatinumQuest because it is work done towards PQ.

Before anyone asks, the new shader engine will work on Windows XP and up, and Mac OS 10.6 and up, if your graphics card supports it. Most graphics cards within the last 8 years should run it from Ati (AMD) and Nvidia, and Intel HD graphics for those with integrated graphics (OpenGL 2.1 required).

I am a programmer. Most here know me for being one of the major contributors to Marble Blast Platinum and PlatinumQuest.

Well if it's work done towards PQ then logically you ought to be testing the shaders on PQ levels and textures. I don't think the MBG levels need shaders because you're essentially throwing realistic looking filters on top of textures that are cartoon themed. It's a horrid mishmash of genres, which is why the official xbox adaptation looked just as bad.
