Website Updates - 07/02/2016

Hello all,

Below are a list of updates that were applied to our Web Servers this morning. We apologize for any outages that occurred during our maintenance period.

Forum Updates

• NEW FEATURE - Warning Levels - Staff Members may now apply Warning Levels to your Marble Blast Account commensurate with actions or behavior deemed inappropriate by the Marble Blast Community Staff. Staff members will automatically adjust these levels over time based on future user behavior.
• IMPROVEMENT - Removed some of the unecessary menu items from the Forum Navigation Menu based on user activity statistics. The remaining tabs are now "Index", "Recent Topics", "My Topics", "Private Messages", and "Search".
• Promarbler14 has been removed as “Lead Moderator” due to a prolonged absence. Kalle29 has been promoted to "Lead Moderator".
• Threefolder is now correctly listed as a Lead Developer.
• Global Moderators for all Forums have been adjusted. The Global Moderators are now Aayrl, Kalle29, and Regislian.
• Removed the "Legend" section on the bottom of the Forums, as it is not used.
• The "Developer" rank icon has been updated.

Website

• BUG FIX - Greatly decreased the page load time for the User Profile page by about 800%.
• Updated Joomla from Version 3.4.8 to Version 3.5.1.
• Updated the Gantry Plugin from Version 4.1.27 to Version 4.1.31.
• Updated the JCH Optimize for Joomla Plugin from Version 5.0.3 to Version 5.0.5.
• Updated the jDownloads Plugin from Version 3.2.41 to Version 3.2.44.
• Updated the Kunena Forum Plugin from Version 4.0.10 to Version 4.0.11.
• Updated the osTicky2 Plugin from Version 2.2.7 to Version 2.2.8.

Web Server

• NEW FEATURE - Disaster Recovery and Process Monitoring! - Our server is now smart enough to automatically detect when important services, like our Leaderboards or Website, suddenly crash or hang, and will now restart these services automatically!
• The Main Marble Blast Server RAM was doubled to accommodate higher loads of website and Webchat traffic.
• The Tsuf Dedicated Server RAM was doubled to reduce latency during gameplay.
