Hey all, it's been a while since my last blog so I figured I would drop a quick update while I'm trying to stay awake on Skype with Jeff and Marble2.

Life's been good. School's been extraordinarily easy, even easier than last year. Ah, the perks of being an 8th grader. Even in a class like HR Geometry full of freshmen and a teacher that's as intelligent as Einstein, the homework load has been surprisingly light.

Oh, and the new laptop program at school is awesome because the teachers can be so clueless. Though I'm usually not one of the culprits, in English class one of my friends got away with looking at shoes the whole period while we were supposed to be reading. It was hilarious.

How about Marble Blast? I've worked on my latest MBP level for the past hour (or was it two hours? three? idk I lost track of time) and it's turned out pretty good, if I do say so myself. It even includes a custom code, courtesy of Jeff. The brush count has been increasing by the thousands, and frankly I have no idea how I'm going to manage to convert it. But hey, I'll cross that road when I get to it.

I still do MBG SS runs every so often, not-so-often on stream because the latest updates of XSplit have been extremely buggy. A while back I lowered my time to a decent 46:21. Now I'm feeling the need to apply more difficult/risky tricks to shave off some extra seconds.

I even started speedrunning on a whole new game, surprisingly one that involves no marbles. It's Super Mario Sunshine--my all-time favorite console game. I'm still very iffy when it comes to difficult tricks, especially ones involving precariously timed jumps. I've also considered running Mario Kart: Double Dash, my favorite Mario Kart title to date. Gotta love those Gamecube games!

On top of all that, I have a Rubik's Cube tournament at Carnegie Mellon Unviersity next weekend. DEFINITELY looking forward to that, especially after the blast I had at last week's tournament. Heck, if I'm lucky I might even see Jeff there.

That's all from me. Please excuse grammar mistakes; I'm very tired writing this and I'm sure there mistakes I didn't catch. My brain is fried right now. Toodles!

Life sounds good! Enjoy it while you can. So you're a competitive speedcuber and speed stacker? That's impressive. Good luck at the competition next weekend.

Looking forward to your level in progress too.

I agree Nihahhat, eighth grade is really easy, especially geometry. I just cringe when a tenth grader says, So a hexagon has five sides, or is that a pentagon? . Our math goes math 7, math 8, algebra, geometry, algebra 2, pre calculus. Looking forward to the level!

Your friend was looking at shoes on the laptop? Is that what they're calling it these days?

Glad you're enjoying school, and life in general. Can't wait to try your new level, too!

Thanks man! Yeah, I do speed stacking/speedcubing depending on the time of year. It's cubing season right now.

LOL dude... the wealthy guys in my grade are obsessed with expensive basketball shoes. Afaik they own multiple pairs of $300+ shoes. It's rather... I don't know... crazy. There's even a shoe-customization website that those guys visit daily.

HA, I know plenty of people who obsess over those shoes too. My roommate last year spent his money on drugs, booze, stocks, and shoes. He had a whole shoe rack that reminded me of the stereotypical woman with too many shoes
