Graphical designs are © ChaosUnown/Patrick M. 2012-2013

These graphics may be freely used in individual custom levels as long as I am given credit. Do not edit or modify these graphics! Do not include any of these graphics in any WIP Mod without my permission!

Welcome to ChaosUnown's Graphics! Below is a (somewhat sloppy) list of graphics I have created for custom use in MarbleBlast Gold and Platinum. Feel free to download them for yourself and try them out! This list is organized from newest to oldest working downwards.

----
Due to a mistep I have re-uploaded all the graphics I had released previously before October of 2013 into one convenient download link which you can find below. Anything after this will be released individually like normal in the future.

When I first saw the pattern preview, I was like meh. Not bad, but not great, either.

Then I saw the in-game preview. That was plain awesome. The pads were also really cool.

I still don't really like the trim, I'd suggest you to make it symmetrical (i.e. make it glossy on all four sides). Right now, it kinda ruins the rest of the graphics by sometimes being glossy on one side, sometimes on the other, sometimes on a completely different side... and it's also a bit too dark. I think it shouldn't be pitch-black, a very dark grey would look better IMHO.

This is supposed to be constructive criticism, so don't take it as an insult to your work. I really like it, really, but nothing's perfect

The thing is if I make it symmetrical then it doesn't look all that much like what I intended it to be. I was attempting to pull off a fake 3D look from it, but if the shine is symmetrical on all sides then it would just look like a white square in the middle. But I definitely agree with trying to make it a dark grey, I'll try and come back to it when I get the chance.

And I'm all too used too critique, so it's all good. I'm glad you gave me your two cents, so to speak.

I prefer the black, it helps to make the textures stand out, I'd say. And it makes for some really nice edges, especially in combination with the tile textures. Overall, they look great, and it was worth the time for me to take a peek at this, and marvel at your designs.

Thank you very much, Pro Marbler. I'm glad you like the designs! I'm happy the trims blend well with the textures.

I'm glad it gave a different feel, sometimes I try too hard to make something and it ends up looking like something similar, haha. But thank you very much.

Well yeah, but that certainly doesn't mean I'm not allowed to make graphics outside of it.

Maybe you should put the wall texture in the first post.

That wall texture would be good for PQ custom levels.

Haha, you think so? I didn't think of it like that, I modeled it with inspiration from the MBU walls.

I think it resembles the logo in PQ more than the MBU wall texture.

Two things:

1. I'm really slow to not notice this thread until just now

2. Dude!! These look great! Keep working I love 'em.

Did you REALLY have to reply to Explode? That was not referring to you AT ALL.
I was actually thinking of reducing your warning level today but here you go making more spam, so not only I'm not gonna lower it, I'm going to increase it instead.

Also, how the heck can you resemble his texture to the PQ logo? They're completely different. The MBU wall-texture is similar looking in terms of color, although anyone else can tell its contents (the black spike ball) is completely different. Likewise PQ logo neither is brown or anywhere looks like that so please don't make comparisons unless you've actually seen both of them properly.

I think MBGA's post would be okay if this was his own thread, but it's unacceptable in someone else's.

I wasn't aware that we've ever shown the PQ logo.

I was a bit lost myself seeing as I never saw the PQ logo before. :<

Also thank you, Explode! I'll certainly try and keep working on more graphics.

These look great mate, have you considered playing around with transparent objects? If you're going along with the MBU look, you may want to take a stab at building a glass-type texture with some transparency for a .dts, similar to colmesh.

MadMarioSkills posted a transparency tutorial for Milkshape, but the concepts could be applied to whatever program you choose to use (should you take up the idea).

Keep up the good work!
