Haloo Haloo, Leaf here. In this thread you will find my completed levels available for download ! Please give them a go and enjoy ! feedback would also be nice here if you have the time

Completed levels available for download :

1) The Long Way Around.

This is my first ever level, and i had fun making it. It got some good feedback and now after literally 3 days of endless waiting ( ) It is here for your playing pleasure. Plenty of Time travels, some hidden, some in plain view, shortcuts, and a good bit of challenge await you.

download it here --> www.divshare.com/download/4033512-5ee

Edit : Link now downloads new version of map with wider tightropes

2) Empyrean Entanglement

My first MBP level, and the first to use a custom interior and custom textures ! A tight indoor maze that you will need to navigate to find gems. Plenty of time travels dotted around aswell, try not to miss them, and dont be afraid to do some exploring ! Watch out for the ramps in the middle of the maze, if your not careful youll fall out

Get it here
>> www.mediafire.com/?wpnnayjmdbj

My best time = 23.85.....Can you beat it ?

3) Mountainous Meander

This middle - high intermediate level is designed to make you feel like you are taking a walk through the countryside, and features alot of nice scenery. Although the level is quite easy to beat, the Ultimate time should be harder to compete with, and i hope this provides a challenge to the better players among us (who am i kidding, you will most likely kill it within 2 hours of this level being released ) Keep an eye out, as usual, for time modifyers. And make sure that you take the time to figure out how far out of your way is useful to go in your quest for a top time. Easter egg also included for free. cause im so nice

Download Mountainous Meander Here >>> www.mediafire.com/?blfcznsz77m

PS. Big thanks to Perishing Flames and Matan for helping me out with the various things that decided they didn't want to work in this level. It's much appreciated guys

4) Collection Conundrum (Version 1.01 now released!)

My idea for collection conundrum was to make a single player level with the feel of a multiplayer one. Its big, its open, and theres an infinite amount of ways to go about finishing it. Its up to you to grab the diamonds and find the quickest route around you can !

Collection conundrum has been completely unannounced up until this point hence it being a secret level. Im not sure why i made it a secret level....i thought it would be kind of fun to give a nice surprise away

This level is available for download here --> www.mediafire.com/?bxjd2xymytt

This link now downloads version 1.01 of Collection Conundrum, which has replaced the bouncy wedges with a different challenge to improve balance and pace !

5) The Long Way Around:Marble Blast Platinum.

This idea was suggested to me a little while ago, and although i liked it, i was a little unsure where to start with a Marble blast Platinum remake of my first level. One day i was playing around in constructor and built a little section of it. I was bitten by this idea from there, and have now finished the brand new version of The Long Way Around.

Built both to get rid of the misalignments and errors from the first version, and bring in a new MBP feel, TLWA:MBP has taken the most work of any of my levels to date, and i am quite confident that it shows. Overall, the difficulty has decreased somewhat, with the inclusion of slightly wider tightropes and lack of misalignments, you are free to use as much speed as you dare to traverse the level. The level now features checkpoints as well, which serve to make the level more accessible to less experienced players.

I would also suggest that you take some time to look for a nice little addition to this map. If you find it, i'm sure you will get a little kick from it.

Download The Long Way Around : Marble Blast Platinum here --> www.mediafire.com/?ueie4t1hjdw

Please do let me know what you think of this level. it has taken alot of work, and i would love to hear if it has payed off !

My god! You REALLY should try out QuArK or Constructor!

--

Okay, I really liked this level, but I think you could have made the tightropes just a little bit wider.
Great job, especially with the Level Editor!

AWESOME level!!! The tightropes were really annoying but if you made them a bit wider this level would be perfect! A seriosuly awesome job for a first level! Well done!

Phil

Thanks for the feedback guys. I actually thought alot about changing the width of the tighropes just to make the movement from area to area a little easier, but decided against it in the end 'cause i had tried it both ways and preferred the thinner ones it does seem like theres a little distaste for tightropes in the marble blast community...is it wierd that i really like them ? well, i guess i would like to look into re releasing with edited tightropes and a few more aesthetic changes, we live and learn

And BTW Phil, im currently spending time figuring out both quark and constructor. heres hoping you see some sweet interiors very soon

Edit : I've now modified the level slightly to remove the annoyance of the tightropes, they should now be just right. I expect that gold time to go out of the window now, lol.

I tried playing it, when I try opening the level, and everything loads, it crashes and gives me this blank message with a Okay button. Can you provide the interiors? Or is it in the CLA?

The Interiors are MBG default, except one or possibly 2 of them which should be available from CLA. I will provide them to you via email if you would prefer though ?

I just play this level, OMG it was the greatest level other than using custom interiors!
Keep up the great work!

I would make a video of it if I found a good path.

That means the exact same thing as the error Disconnect: INVALID PACKET. in MBG.
Just had to inform you, that's all.

What does the invalid packet error mean ? I never found that out...

Invalid packet has two causes:
1. You tried to add an interior for which there is missing textures.
2. You tried to open a mission for which the skybox directory is incorrect.

#2 is most common; just open the mission document and make sure the file the sky coding points to actually exists on your comp.

Ah, that makes sense. I got the error for Random it up ! but put the files in again and it fixed....now i know why . cheers !

Thanks dude, im currently learning constructor. I'm getting there with the program, its a little frustrating how often things cause it to crash though

They are pretty well hidden Im still really impressed by your run though. You killed by best time by 20 seconds even with the TT's at the start !

One of the most enjoyable levels to come out in quite some time. Amazing for a first level.

I have 1:48.29. Come on Imperial, you can do better.

If replay centre works on this level, I can make a video within the next days. If it doesn't, you'll have to wait until 3 April. I'll try.

EDIT: Recording for 1:55.25 made! One silly and obvious mistake. Let's hope the replay works!

The camera worked, but I didn't have the USB cable to connect it to the computer. Luckily, my computer has a built-in camera, so I recorded the camera's playback on its small screen with the computer's camera. So I hereby present a video of negative quality showing my run of 1:55.25:

I just played (38 first finish). SUPERB. nice textures, perfectly built, except for minor texture alignment in maze and pads being a tiny bit sunk (seriously lol thats all I can come up with). very fun too. It even has supports. You learned constructor quite quickly, but then again, my first constructor level was Speed Attack so I win

Aw man, sinking pads counts as an error ? i like sinking them just a little bit. lol. I think it looks better that way

And those texture alignments in the maze....absolute pain in the ass
