Good for a first level. Pretty easy and not annoying; I could see myself trying to speedrun this for a while.

Tip: always put your .difs in the interiors folder, never in a folder of your own, it makes it easier in the long run

Thank you!

I already made a second level... The .dif is still in another folder so I'll put them in the interiors folder from the third one on.
But why does it matter if I put them in a folder of my own?

It makes it much easier if everyone puts their interiors in the same folder. It's not practical to have to remember everyone's personal folder, especially when you have as many folders as I have. Having a standardized system if often the best way to go.

It didn't turn out to be as good as I imagined it but I made it so... Why not upload it? :)

No, I couldn't find a better name... I'm not that good at finding names...

Tested water triangle. Gem placement ended being so thick that it slowed gameplay down too much unfortunately, they could've been spread out more. Also texture scale was 1 unit which made whole level look way too oversized. the rest was fairly good. Also please take kalles suggestion on interiors since you still haven't changed it for this level. ;)

Some guy that does DTS shapes and levels.

AWESOME time HINT : When making PQ level place your custom interiors and textures in platinum/data/interiors_pq/custom
makes life easier for you and everyone else :)

After making the first level, I was very proud of it and I tried to make another one... As you can see, it's not good at all and now I feel bad for uploading it :) From now on I'll try to work more on levels so that they will be better and the interiors will not be in a separate folder now.

please, look at my levels lol

if it's bad it's bad and that sucks but keep making levels and don't worry about how good they are ESPECIALLY since you've made 2. It took me about 30 to learn how to make decent ones.

Can confirm it took me a very long time to learn too. Kurt told me my levels are bad, but out of nowhere they jumped in quality.
Just keep making and it will click in eventually.

.zip is global-ish and can be uncompressed by Win 7+/OS X without the need to download WinZIP (afaik), .rar requires WinRAR or 7zip.
RAR compression is better than ZIP.
7zip's compression methods are better than RAR

New Level! :)
Gem Stealer

I once made a level in Geometry Dash called Thief. Now I made something similar in Marble Blast. I hope you like it.
I also wanted to make the marble spin but it didn't work. (I had use rotation set to 1) Can you not rotate Static Shapes with path nodes?

Download it here: marbleblast.com/index.php/downloads/down...vels/728-gem-stealer

Or from Marbleland: marbleland.vaniverse.io/level/12215

Take a look in the .mis file after you play ;)

That was a fun level although it was short. I would like to see a longer level like this, but if you make a new one, I would suggest making the marble slower.

Weather wrote: I would suggest making the marble slower.

I tried to make it move about the same speed as the real marble moves. If it goes too fast, you can't catch it. If it's too slow, the level becomes boring.

If we had the smoothingtype option on path nodes this would look better. But Threefolder said it's only in PQ at the moment. Maybe when we get acces to it I'll make another level like this.

New Level Pack! :)

Marble Blast Gold Reverse Level Pack

This level pack contains all the MBG levels with the start and end pad switched in position. Some level become easier, like Tightrope (I made tightropes fun, someone tell RDs) and some become harder, like Will o' the Wisp. And there are some levels which become impossible. They're in their own category called "impossible" and I added PowerUps to them so that you can finish them. Now, if you want to finish one of those "impossible" ones without PowerUps then go ahead... You may have a chance on some of them. Most of the levels in this pack have new gold times (a big thank you to Regislian for helping me with Escher's Race's gold time) in order to make it a bigger challenge. I hope you'll like this.

Download the level pack here: marbleblast.com/index.php/downloads/down...g-reverse-level-pack

Or from Marbleland: marbleland.vaniverse.io/pack/72

I really hope no one did this before...

New Level! :D

Sadly, I made the mistake of focusing on creating the interior, not the gameplay parts first. I tried to work with what I had and I ended up with this. I hope you'll like it. I'd say this level is more difficult than the usual ones. Please let me know what you think of it.

7.5/10 (-0.5 because there's no checkpoints and -2 because where's my bed)

Overall, neat level.

Ralph, I am so sorry. I must have forgotten to write your name on the list I had when I asked everyone. The beds were almost the last things I made in the level so I used that list to remember the names since it was a pretty long time between when I asked and when I actually did it.

Cons:
  • No checkpoint.
  • The colmesh in the time travel box is too high, I would have used the static shape version of time travels so there's no way to pick them up.
  • The gems around the Easter egg could use colmesh. The reason they don't have their own collision is because the code I gave you points to the same DTS the game uses for gems, which doesn't need any collision.
Pros:
  • It looks really cool.
  • The Easter egg isn't just hidden in some difficult to find and reach spot.
  • I like what you did with the finish.

New Level! :D

How to make a level

Warning: Spoiler!

This was at first just an idea of doing something fun with a Rubik's Cube in MB (sadly, you'll only see the cool part when you get the nest egg). This then evolved to the idea of having a video with me in real life explaining how to build such a level (could have been worse imo). I'm sure the level could have had some better gameplay, but I had no good ideas :( . Anyway, what do you think?

First of all, I made it in Constructor and saved it as .map. Using map2dif I made it into a .dif (which is what we need in the game anyway). Then, using dif2dae (thx Weather) , you can make that .dif into .dae. Cinema4D opens .dae so i can animate whatever I want with my level. Motion tracking in the video was done in After Effects (before working in C4D). After all that I just had to record myself talking alone in a room (fun) and put that on top of the video. tbh i expected my voice to sound worse, idk i just have this problem that i think my voice sounds bad in recordings.
