Now I'm not sure if this should belong in this area of the forums but it involves custom levels so just put it in here.

A few days ago I had that idea of putting all the courses from Minigolf Mania into MBP.

To start everything off I took the 'minigolf' folder from the app and placed it into platinum/data/missions

Then I had to edit some file locations in all the .mis files in order for them to load and work.

I've been rather successful, apart from that in course (mission) 1 of Golden Hills, the windmill doesn't turn.
Couple screenshots:

I had a look into this and the only thing that I think could be a problem is that this particular windmill is not in platinum's (not minigolf's) pathedinteriors.cs.dso file.

In another course called smash it (goldenHills - hole19), there is a moving piece, which does work, this piece goes up, stays, and down, stays and on like that. The windmill piece on the other hand should move round.

Over all my main question is: Can anyone help me get this windmill thing to turn? And also those 3 circles in Spin Out, should (spin) turn as well.

If you want to play this mission or just have a look...
Download minigolf.zip from ufile.io/qvysq

Unpack that and put everything into a new folder, must be called 'minigolf'.
Place that folder into platinum/data/missions

In platinum, you can find the courses under the Custom levels tab.

NOTE that I have only edited 3 courses and so only 'Windmill', 'Smash It!' and 'Spin Out' will load!

To make other missions function, follow instructions in the text file I attached, in section 'MISSION ADJUSTMENT'.

You can do it with PathNodes, though currently objects that use PathNodes don't have any "real" physics.

Thanks I'll try that and also I managed to launch up the editor in MGM itself and I looked at the windmill and it looks like this:

What's all of that? Also it's like a sphere of it around the windmill, that rotates with the windmill.

Pretty sure that's the audio emitter. I don't know why it would need to rotate with the windmill.

By the way, I'm not sure you can put a moving platform object on path nodes . . . you may need to remake it as a separate DIF with a correct pivot point.
