From what I can see in my PSD files, the dark tiles are 25% darker (photoshop brightness/contrast filter -25%), and the light tiles are 25% lighter.

I also will get right on with making my own random textures
I just finished a level that needs them and it will make it much better to look at and play.
I might make my own random texture for mbu_grid_green1 as well since I'm at it!
Edit: ummm.... I was making a texture of the aqua coloured texture, but there's already an orange one with the same name. I think you people should change the orange name to mbu_neutrel_12 so that a lot of custom levels are not messed up by that! thanks
