Every week I will be picking random map from PQ's map pool (excluding bonus and tutorial categories for now, custom levels may happen depending on how this goes), here you can share any opinions, share positive things you liked about the map or just point out pros and cons and express all the anger you have to the person who made the map :side:

2nd map of the week is something more exciting: Half Pipe Leap of Faith

One of the few submissions Buzzmusic made to PlatinumQuest, and the most liked of them.

Really small level in scale. I loved how unique it is as there hasn't been anything done before in this way and gravity trigger in midair really helps making gem collecting fun (unlike their mbg counterparts) this map takes MBG half pipes and makes them fun, level takes a bit more practice to master but once you get the mechanics it opens lot of room for new pathways. The middle part had some little flaws and sometimes felt inconsistent and hard to aim. Scenery was gorgeous (Looking at you rotating cylinder) though i kinda wished there was something else around as well that could feast your eyes while you're falling down.

Not too shabby. Solid 7/10 from me. Really hoping Buzzmusic will come with more pq levels soon.

A good short level, utilises its game mode simply but effectively and just about the right length. (also first awesome score)
Not much more to say about it.

----Beta Feedback (might as well also post this on every map discussion as well even if I disagree about past me)
Its your fun speedy half-pipe shenanigans with more cool scenery and some cool PhysMod stuff so its better, or something. (4/5)

3.5/5 or 7/10

I love the concept of this level since it takes place in a slim half-pipe and doesn't last too long. It's certainly a simple level that involves skillful pathfinding. The Awesome Time forces you to think about your speed because a high speed will cause you to say in the air for too long.

My only gripe with the level is the gap in the middle. It would have been better off if you could jump earlier or show off the zero-gravity abilities of PQ. For a beginner level, you certainly don't have much time to jump.

Overall, I'd give it a 4/5.

It's a very interesting level I'd say, there's many ways Buzz could've completely screwed up the level by adding too many gems, making it too difficult but it actually has a good amount of replay-ability. Design is simple but not so simple it just looks empty. The gem madness mode I think helps a lot and it's overall a good level.

Sorry for the late post, but the middle low gravity section can be really annoying that I hope there would be a zero-g section that replaces it as I would sometimes go out of bounds because of where I jump. I know the AT is possible, but it'd require more effort to achieve it.

I rate this level 9/10.

Awesome Hint:

Since the Awesome Time/Score is secret, you will have to beat it in order to find out what it is. Just practice every day, and be ready to keep pressing the 'Restart' button...A LOT!

Half Pipe Leap of Faith : 8/10

Definitely a fun level, I feel like Tony Hawk playing it. However, it feels a bit repetitive, but what matter the most is that there's nothing to save you if you (accidentally) fail passing by the zero-gravity section, and it can kill instantly your run. Aside that, it's still really fun. Would've added platinums a bit higher, tho. (Just kidding, leave it that way lmao)

You forget a thousand things everyday. Make sure Marble Blast isn't one of 'em.
