weekly map discussion or it can be better described as review. Every week I will be picking random map from PQ's map pool (excluding bonus and tutorial categories for now, custom levels may happen depending on how this goes), here you can share any opinions, share positive things you liked about the map or just point out pros and cons and express all the anger you have to the person who made the map
11th map of the week: Dangerous Development
Desc: "Don't forget your hard hat."
This level's name is also an accurate description of PlatinumQuest itself.
Some guy that does DTS shapes and levels.
AWESOME timeHINT : When making PQ level place your custom interiors and textures in platinum/data/interiors_pq/custom
makes life easier for you and everyone else
Like several 2D levels, this level has one critical flaw: You don't see enough. Once you memorize the level, it's fun to speedrun, but it's entirely trial and error if you're going fast. The moving platform segment isn't quite enjoyable. It's decently fun to play, but it has a few flaws. It's not terrible, but it's not great, either.
I like the variety of challenges, love the dynamic scenery and the gameplay, except, like Cylinder pointed out, the visibility of the level.
Of course, when you already have a good knowledge of the level, it is more simple to play/speedrun it correctly, but trust me, the very first time you play it, you get confused very easily, even if the level is in 2D. It would've been better if the camera were a bit zoomed out in some sections.
Decent level, though.
You forget a thousand things everyday. Make sure Marble Blast isn't one of 'em.
