holy wow that was a bad ending.

And yeah, I've done a lot of thinking about the very last part of that run, and I came to the conclusion that my green tube (8th gem) is the better way to do it since you get a better bounce for the last gem. Although I do have an even better strat in mind.

Kalle29: I watched the large majority of your blooprs. Great Divide I cut out half because I was literally falling asleep (not your fault) and the .recs were pretty much the same. I'll do Dive another time because the damn game doesn't do them in order, instead in random fashion.

@IsraeliRD: I expected the vast majority to be cut out. The reason as to why I had so many Great Divide .recs is because everytime I got some kind of launch I saved it to see if I could find a pattern, which I eventually did.

Since I'm not going for Tube Treasure anymore, I'll see if I can improve some of my older WRs. I already have MS Qualifying 15.88.

That's probably because I didn't send you a bunch of them (those were only for testing and not actual attempts)
Anyway, I've improved some more on MS Qualifying (new tweak). I'll send you the .rec when I'm satisfied with the time. Are there any specific levels you want me to try to improve after that?

My reaction: OMG OMG. Well done Nihahhat!!!!

I found through emails that powerjohn once sent me a whirl 4.415 but the .rec was the original MBG whirl demo (>___________>), but I found Pascal had a 4.44x so I'll be using that unless someone beats it.

I also discovered an ordeal 7.863 from powerjohn. Audio is glitchy (for SDA purposes) but for YouTube and myself it's pretty good, so I will be using that.

I started re-encoding old videos and since I'm trimming them, each run will end 2.5 secs after hitting finish pad. This will do wonders for SDA encoding process and also YouTube.

iMac: I re-recorded your space slide with your new marble skin.

Xelna's marble skin is the only one through rampage to be inconsistent due to new/old .rec/videos

Wonderful news! While looking at powerjohn's emails I found from 3rd March 2011 an email from asuul which had a 2.19 time trial. For some reason on Windows it shows 2.20 but just figured to have a Mac person aka HiGuy record and it is 2.19! So this makes another record, albeit old, make it to the WRR!

Great news about Asuul's time Matan!!! And congrats Nihahhat!! Can't wait to see all the records that have been beaten and the awesome tricks, even though I couldn't manage Battlements. Will definitely get around to watching it, well done everyone!

Can I just ask you Matan, now that you seem to be finding old .recs in your mail, are you 100% sure that you haven't got a Shock Absorber, Hoops or The Wave .rec hidden in there somewhere? They are claimed by Xelna/Dushine and at least in my experience they seem to get .recs of their records.

Also, amazing time nihahhat, can't wait to see it in the rampage.

And as I got a 17.10 on Great Divide (I was just testing the restart glitch and got it on my first try so it's not on .rec and not recorded in any way), I'll try to get an even better time recorded within the coming days...

They would've sent me the .rec on MSN (when we had MSN back then) if they had it. Some records they have are not on .rec or video, so we have no access to them. One can probably repeat what Dushine did in his video to get a faster SA but I dunno if anyone wants to.

Hi all, update time!

The army has sucked away my time, and I've been pretty busy with lots of others things. I did today a full sweep update of all the things, and Kalle submitted more records. I updated the first post as him and stewman battled it out on Platform Training, with stewman edging it.
We now have 67 levels updated, and the YT version is currently updated to the same one as SDA has. Neither is released or actually made except basics because I just don't have time, but I did do like half the work.

I am hoping to be able to start releasing in a few weeks, when I actually have time to work on this.

Right now: 67 levels improved (14 beginner, 17 intermediate, 36 advanced)

After 3 years and a bit we are back and better than ever!
This WRR is a 72 levels improvement over the last rampage and 25.523 seconds faster.

We would like to thank all the runners for hundreds of hours of work being put into recording the runs and IsraeliRD for compiling everything. It took us many hours to record everything, with levels like: Great Divide, Hoops, Tightrope, Siege, Pathways, Pipe Dreams, Skyscraper and others taking dozens of hours to record. Even simple levels such as Gyrocopter, Hop Skip and a Jump or Tornado Bowl were a lot harder to do than might meet the eye.

We would also like to thank many members of the community (we love you all!) and the fantastic developers of Marble Blast Gold who gave us a very enjoyable game. We would also like to thank the SDA staff for all their work into maintaining this site.

OMG. That was literally PQ. You know this is amazing when even the IC levels can be improved like that. The flawlessness of the runs reminds me of MBP WRR#2. Definitely a great appetizer to start with. Can't wait to see the intermediate and advanced levels!

This just shows how hardworking this community's speedrunners are. Bravo to everyone on the first leg of the MBG WRR #4!!! I can't believe it's finally here, and that I was part of the community longing to see it!!! For once, we get to see 14 runners on the scene who quickly rose to the top. Even though I didn't manage to be part of this project (battlements why), it's great to sit back and watch the progress of those who were constantly around me! It was great to see some old runs by Pascal, and Kalle making all those IC improvements, with a few by Stew and one by Regi. Favorite runs: Mason's Grand Finale, Trevor (m2m)'s Jump Training, BM's Elevator Training, Kalle's winding road, Pascal's platform party, Stew's platform training--- Arghh too manyyyyy. I literally went "woah, what kalle" when I saw that run.

Totally can't wait for the Intermediate, where we get to see the true selves of the runners, and then, le piece de resistance: the Advanced runs!! Seing Pascal demolish all those Advanced levels in the third rampage, I'm on pins and needles waiting to see how that can be topped...
