MarbleBlast Gold, being run on Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard

This only recently happened, but I do not know how it occurred at all. As of late I've been unable to hit the ~ key and open up the script view in MBG. When I hit said button nothing happens at all, so because of this I am unable to go into edit mode by means of $testcheats=1;

I want to assume because my MBG is located in the main Applications folder something weird happened with user permissions and thus the script view key somehow became disabled, though it seems unlikely as I am an administer user of my computer and should be allowed access to everything on it.

Any possible help would be greatly appreciated!

I'll answer this because I have a code for you to test:

I have had the same problems on my windows7, where the ~ key gets disabled. It is because of $enableDirectInput = 1; is being set in PlayGui::onwake(%this) function. This sometimes messes up keys, however it may necessary for joysticks.

Edit: see this thread:

I am a programmer. Most here know me for being one of the major contributors to Marble Blast Platinum and PlatinumQuest.

Chaos, have you tried pressing F10 instead? That's how it is for me. I'm on 10.6 Mac as well.

Oh huh, I just tried it and it worked! I hadn't known about pressing F10 before, so thank you very much!
