I do not completely understand what the MBP Mission Template means by "Copy and Paste this into a plain Text Editor". Can someone please explain this with more detail? (I use Windows, if that helps.)
When you put the MissionTemplate.mis into an editor like notepad++, it will show all the data of the level and allow you to change the start text, level name, description, etc.
To edit the level itself: 1) Go into singleplayer (Play Button) 2) Select the mission template 3) Click More... 4) Click the 4th button 5) Click okay on the message box that pops up 6) go into the level 7) press f11
You will now be in the level editor
It means to make a copy of MissionTemplate.mis (found in marble/data/missions), and then open the copy you made with a program such as Notepad or Notepad++.
