Then what antivirus do you use? The only one I know of that causes that issue is Norton...

we're running a deep scan on it via virustotal.com, which uses 57 antiviruses to scan it. Pretty sure that it is just a false positive, but we'll do our part just to make sure. We'll let you know once we get the scan done!

I am a programmer. Most here know me for being one of the major contributors to Marble Blast Platinum and PlatinumQuest.

In addition, it would be nice to know:
  • Which Antivirus software you use
  • Which file it has detected as malware

Thanks.

More than likely, it'll detect MBExtender.exe, which is used to modify the Marble Blast program at runtime by hooking into the game's memory, which some antivirus software might detect as a (supposedly) malicious injection attempt.

We don't actually use MBExtender.exe anymore... It hooks vorbis.dll and injects PluginLoader.dll from there, so it's probably one of those which is detected. However, it would be nice if they could tell us.
