There's a few problems with Multiplayer ever since 1.60 came out. The more I play multiplayer, the high chance some more problems will be added to my list.

Ratings
I've been playing multiplayer a lot recently, and I have moved from 1787 rating for almost a month now. Both on the two dedicated servers and player servers, ratings don't work, even when the Calculate Ratings box is checked in the options menu.

Mega Marbles
No one's able to mega marble anyone. Even with the "Disable Knocking" box uncheck, nothing happens. For a matter of fact, you can't collide with another player at all - even without a mega marble.

Helicopter PowerUp
There's a few problems with the Helicopter PowerUp. As already stated by Frostfire, the helicopter sound doesn't play. What I also found out is that sometimes the helicopter will disappear from your marble before the actual PowerUp stops. So eventually you're just rolling in mid air and your gravity is not a high as usual.

I can also add that the helicopter flying sound doesn't play, and in co-op picking up helicopter or speed booster sounds don't play. Mega Marble also appears darker than your normal marble once activated.

Ratings, MM collision, and helicopter sound will be pushed in priority for 1.60 patch 3.

shading on marble: will not be fixed until shaders come out in MBP 2.00. It's a known issue on how the DTS shapes are rendered. Needs a new rendering engine.

I am a programmer. Most here know me for being one of the major contributors to Marble Blast Platinum and PlatinumQuest.

Also, sometimes, players can't pick up powerups in Co-Op. But after a random time, the players can pick it up. This has happened to me and BPXRockU when we we're playing Co-Op yesterday.

Resolved this tonight; MP ratings should be recalculated from Sep 26th onward. Let me know if there are still issues.

this has happened for me and regi too, but only to him when i was the host, and only with helicopters.

What I've noticed is that the helicopter sound plays twice, one overlapping the other, so that it sounds twice as fast, as if two players are using a helicopter at the same time.

UPDATE: mega marble collision is fixed. No public patch yet, still doing internal testing.

Providing additional updates.

HiGuy resolved most issues with the Gryocopter yesterday, he's still working on fixing how it displays on Mega Marbles, but I think he was planning on pushing a hotfix later this afternoon to resolve Mega Marbles and Gyrocopter bugs.

Radar mode 1 has been fixed, I think Radar mode 2 as well was fixed but I am not certain. Those will likely be provided in today's hotfix.

Ratings should be working properly - please let us know if you're noticing any issues with ratings.

Please be sure to run the launcher to install the new update when it is available.

The helicooter only seems to dissipear whhen using a speed bossier with it, at least for me.

Fixed issues with Website Profile statistics. SQL Queries were incorrect for some reason. Thanks for pointing this out, MOTB. Here's your corrected stats:

Games Played: 165
Team Games Played: 7
Games Won: 106
Games Lost: 66
Win/Loss Ratio: 1.606 (61.63%)

Please note your Team Games also effect your Win/Loss ratio.
106 Games Won + 66 Games Lost = 172 Games total.
165 Games Played + 7 Team Games Played = 172 Games total.

The ratio percentage is now your # of Games Won out of # of Games Played Total (Team + Regular).
