There's a couple problems with Frightfest. I'll list what I've ran into and that still needs to be fixed.
  • [strike]Someone clearly explain the achievement where you "Win a round of Ghost Hunt". I was on my own portforwarded server with other people, ratings were on, Ghost Hunt was enabled...What's wrong?
    My opponent left in the last 30 seconds in the match. Could that be the reason why I didn't get the achievement?[/strike]
  • It's most likely that I missed a grave, but I'm 99% sure I didn't. Someone explain how you get the Grave Robbery achievement. Do you have to make contact with all the graves? Do you have to let the text run out all the way? Do you have to do it in one run?
    And are the graves only in the four outside sections and along the edge of the middle? Or are there more?

This will be updated when I run into more problems.

To the second one I'm guaranteeing you that you're missing a grave. No, you don't have to let the text run at all, as long as it is triggered. No, you don't have to do it in one run. And last I checked the map was composed of centre+4 outside bits so...

I was able to get both of those achievements. I'm not sure about the first one (perhaps ratings have to be on or you need to do it on a dedicated server), but for the second one, keep in mind that there are two "special" graves which aren't just names written on a tombstone. You'll have to look for them.

Also, for those of you wondering why your name isn't on a grave, it would be difficult to give every single person in this community a grave. We chose names largely based on who was online while Aayrl made the level.

Here's my attempt at getting the Grave Robber achievement. I don't think I missed a grave. As you can see, I let every grave I encountered run its second line of text.
I still do not have the achievement.
Surely there's something I'm missing.


Also, I have the "Win a round of Ghost Hunt" achievement. I don't really know what I changed, but I'll take it.

Excuse me for double posting...

I have the grave robber achievement! Apparently I didn't have it yesterday before I went to bed, and I wake up the next morning (today) to find that I actually do have it.
[strike]My guess is that the server was just being stupid.[/strike]
My guess to how I got this was that HiGuy noticed this is gave me the achievement. I'm mostly likely wrong because I most likely missed a grave on Grave Robber, but I haven't played the level since I recorded the video.

Either way, thank you for the help for this achievement!

EDIT: I noticed when I was running through my list of achievements that I have duplicate achievements of Grave Robber, 2Spooky4Me, and Hallowed Hunter. Someone do something about this please.

HiGuy and I looked into it last night. What actually happened is that you got all of the graves, but for some weird reason the server thought that you got one of the graves twice. Essentially this meant that you had more graves than the achievement was looking for, and it wasn't able to handle that, so you never got the achievement. HiGuy fixed the database and gave you the achievement.

Also, congrats on getting all of the other achievements too! :)
