Threefold asked me to screencap my problem, so here it is.
If I copy a level such as the level template and put it in the missions folder, it works fine. In this case, I copied Ordeal and made my own level. But as you can see, when I change "Alex Swanson" to "classicordeal" it stops working. I also tried changing Advanced to Custom, but that didn't work either. And it's not because I chose Ordeal, because the same thing happens with the template. Another problem could be that Ordeal already exists. Well, I changed the file name to ordealx.mis, and still nothing.

(just adding this post here basically to archive my response)

Something weird happened and some quotation marks are replaced with "“" in ordealx-2.mis. Probably a Mac thing.
Also, dozens of empty SimGroups isn't healthy for a .mis file as far as I know. Included in this post is a fix for your .mis file, let me know if this loads.

He probably has fancy quotes / smart quotes turned on. You can turn them off in textedit in the Edit > Substitutions menu.

This signature is real code
Code:
function clientcmd12dothepq() { commandToClient(LocalClientConnection, '34onthedancefloor'); }

Just to add to this topic, I would recommend using a program such as notepad++ or sublime text for editing any syntax based file. For levels, I would suggest having the syntax switched to C++ or C#.
