lock [RESOLVED] MBP: Input for FW/BW starts and stops

OS: Windows 7 Professional SP1 32bit
Game version: Marble Blast Platinum 1.60 (latest)

Today I was playing MBP singleplayer and suddenly when I was going forward, it stopped going forward. (as in stopped inputting forward) So I pressed forward (W), it did it again. It also happens when trying to back backwards. Starts then stops. The console did not give out any errors. I also tried playing MBG (actual game) to see if that has any problems and there were no problems.

UPDATE: It has gotten worse, now every time I press forwards or backwards, it acts as if I'm tapping the keys.

UPDATE 2: FIXED! In order to fix this, unplug any gamepad you have connected. That should fix the problem.

AS (attempted solutions):
1. Restarting my game.
2. Restarting my computer.
3. Reinstalling the game.
4. Rebinding the forward and backward key.
i don't like bugs. they're creepy.
