When I run the game in high quality, the texture are supposed to be colourful and shiny. But they are just dull blank colours. The lighting doesn't work as well. I got a log file here. I already talked to one of the devs on chat.

Shrek Is Love, Shrek Is Life. Btw I make crappy levels.

Hello Craftnime,

If possible, could you also provide us with a screenshot of what you're seeing when you load and play a level? Could you also please provide us with your Operating System (OS) and (if possible) your Graphics Driver?

When you state "When I run the game in high quality", does that mean maxed settings and shaders enabled? How does the game look when you change some of the graphics settings to a lower state, do shaders work? Does a lower bitrate produce correctly lit environments?

Thanks,
~Aayrl

Known problem where the shaders are not working properly for Mac users when their GPU is Nvidia.
A fix is in the works, and until then please use Medium Quality settings in the Options->General menu.

Thanks!

Good news! I can reproduce this issue on my early 2009 mac mini with an NVidia GeForce 9400M graphics card. I will attempt to fix it tonight after I do my homework. I will post back whenever I resolve this issue.

Also I noticed you are running Mac OSX 10.10.2. Apple has released security patches for Mac OS Yosemite, so the latest version is 10.10.5. Note that I will be testing on 10.10.5 when attempting to fix this issue. However, the fix should work for all macs running 10.6.8 or later.

I found the fix. Apparently, the fixed function drivers do not work well with shaders, and we were mixing some ancient code to help make it easier on ourselves. It worked everyone else BUT nvidia mac drivers. Used a better way and it works. However, I ended up degrading some performance, but I can fix it. It's just getting late so I will do that soon(tm). No public patch yet, but one should be released soon(tm).
