Cro-Mag Rally: Glaciers (Stone Age)

A bit of bad news: this version of Cro-Mag Rally was a demo version. Yesterday, the demo expired, and I am unable to play it. So this will likely be the last Cro-Mag Rally video I upload.

Anyway, this shows the third and final racecourse of the Stone Age, Glaciers. I recorded this video the same day as my Jungle video. I was again able to win the race, plus collect all the arrowheads. At the very end, you will see that I was able to complete this stage and unlock the Bronze Age (the first map, Desert, I did not record). Songs come from this game; the first song used is the official one for the Glaciers course.

Enjoy! =)

Duh. Btw, it seems to be a glitch. In the normal player, it says it's private but in your channel I can view it. Gj btw

Size Matters (14.78)

Over a week without any new videos? Sorry everyone, but I've been pretty busy at college lately.

In my opinion, this level is one of Ian's finest. I've always had fun on it, and it was quite original and creative at the time it was released (over a year ago I believe). This UT pathway uses SM 1: Midget Marble. There are many more high-valued Time Modifiers along the small marble path than on the big marble path, and I have never beaten the Ultimate Time using a big marble. However, I was very surprised at the low time I was able to achieve here.

Song used:
Ain't Back Yet - Kenny Chesney

Enjoy! =)

Agility Island (7.43)

Agility Island is a short and very easy level by Eguee, a member who very recently returned to the community after having disappeared for over a year. Watch me shatter the UT of 7.95 on this run. =D

My overall impression of the level: very easy and fun; however, it is way too short for me, and there was absolutely nothing original or creative about the challenges. Jumping, rolling, and switching gravity to get a few diamonds are pretty much the only things the player has to do to beat this level. I felt that there was a lot of untapped potential here that went to waste. These factors give the level almost no replayability. I can easily see you as a great level builder, Eguee, you just need to come up with original level ideas. =)

Boots On - Randy Houser

Pathways: General Walkthrough (1:04.54)

Video for TenPoundHammer (Bobby). This video shows the general path that I use to beat the MBG advanced level Pathways. I offered to make this walkthrough for him after trying and failing to assist him in beating this level. I hope it helps. =) As you can see, even with me going fairly slowly through the level, I was still able to beat the gold time. Me thinks it was set way too high. =P

People are Crazy - Billy Currington

When it was released barely anyone beat gold, much less sub-1 min... till I figured it all out

Cro-Mag Rally: The Great Wall (Bronze Age)

If you didn't see the edit I made to the description of my last Cro-Mag Rally video, then I'll fill you in: one of the MB forums members gave me his unused registration code for the game, allowing me to be able to play it again for as long as I want. =)

Therefore, here's another Cro-Mag video, showing The Great Wall. This is one of the three racecourses from the Bronze Age. I've already beaten the three courses in the Bronze Age and am currently working on the Iron Age. I decided to go back and record a race from this course, since it's one of my favorite maps. I finally figured out how to use powerups and weapons, so you'll see some of that in this video as well.

Enjoy! =)

Sonic Warrior1 says: (11:57:55 PM)

Sonic Warrior1 says: (11:58:32 PM)
well anyway
Sonic Warrior1 says: (11:58:34 PM)
on vista
Sonic Warrior1 says: (11:58:42 PM)
the teleporters lag and make it go up to 10 fps
Sonic Warrior1 says: (11:58:57 PM)
that lag could have made the OOB not trigger hence he did not go OOB
Sonic Warrior1 says: (11:59:08 PM)
sometimes lag can be that bad
Sonic Warrior1 says: (11:59:14 PM)
where stuff doesn't trigger
Sonic Warrior1 says: (11:59:29 PM)
i.e. freeway crossing but with MPs
Andrew says: (12:00:35 AM)
the video isn't laggy
Sonic Warrior1 says: (12:01:09 AM)
nanus was
Sonic Warrior1 says: (12:01:13 AM)
it was like 8 fps
Andrew says: (12:01:18 AM)
...
Andrew says: (12:01:24 AM)
did we watch the same vid
Sonic Warrior1 says: (12:01:39 AM)
yes
Andrew says: (12:02:10 AM)
ok...it's a bit laggy, but not that bad
Sonic Warrior1 says: (12:02:37 AM)
a bit?
Sonic Warrior1 says: (12:02:40 AM)
its like 10 fps
Sonic Warrior1 says: (12:02:56 AM)
plus it was online
Sonic Warrior1 says: (12:03:08 AM)
if it wasn't that then what
Sonic Warrior1 says: (12:03:12 AM)
im sure he dont know how to hack
Andrew says: (12:03:26 AM)
maybe he does
Andrew says: (12:03:49 AM)
if it does turn out that lag is the cause, i'll remove my vid
Sonic Warrior1 says: (12:04:42 AM)
well thats the only thing i think
Sonic Warrior1 says: (12:04:51 AM)
coz i dont see any other way
Sonic Warrior1 says: (12:05:06 AM)
and i know, for a fact, teleports do lag like hell on win7 and vista
Andrew says: (12:09:46 AM)
why would they lag
Sonic Warrior1 says: (12:09:54 AM)
i have no clue
Sonic Warrior1 says: (12:09:56 AM)
but they do
Andrew says: (12:15:06 AM)
hm here we go:

Andrew says: (12:15:58 AM)
well the OOB trigger is def there
Sonic Warrior1 says: (12:16:51 AM)
that proves it was lag
Sonic Warrior1 says: (12:17:01 AM)
coz there WAS an oob trigger and he went right thru it
Andrew says: (12:17:05 AM)
guess so :/
Sonic Warrior1 says: (12:17:18 AM)
its weird but true
Andrew says: (12:17:19 AM)
next patch: increase thickness of trigger
Sonic Warrior1 says: (12:17:23 AM)
haha
Sonic Warrior1 says: (12:17:25 AM)
deff
Sonic Warrior1 says: (12:18:45 AM)
wait....
Sonic Warrior1 says: (12:18:52 AM)
lemme test one thing before i say im right
Andrew says: (12:19:10 AM)
i already deleted my vid
Sonic Warrior1 says: (12:20:47 AM)
ok im right
Sonic Warrior1 says: (12:20:59 AM)
just making sure having the LE open makes the trigger not work
Sonic Warrior1 says: (12:22:08 AM)
i cant believe i noticed something you and some others didn't
Sonic Warrior1 says: (12:22:10 AM)
go me!
Andrew says: (12:22:20 AM)
good job
Sonic Warrior1 says: (12:22:27 AM)
whars my cookie
Andrew says: (12:22:29 AM)
i wouldn't want to falsely accuse someone of something
Sonic Warrior1 says: (12:22:35 AM)

Various Director's Cut levels

Some UT runs for five different Director's Cut levels in MBP. These were levels made by the MBP staff that did not make it into the final product, and are of varying levels of quality. I had recorded a sixth level, Castle Wars, but decided to make that into a separate video due to length.
