Checkpoint Challenger (6.85):


Hi, this is eNetro50. This is an unexpected improved run of Checkpoint Challenger over Pokko's. The video layout is inspired by iMacmatician.

This is one of the most annoying paths I ever use because when I get the gem, I usually go OOB near the green platform. Also, I sometimes fell off one of the scenery poles. I was so happy I hit this time because my previous PR is 9.71.

The Wall-Hit Monster Course (2:45.05) - Walkthrough:


This run of a level is not exactly a speedrun, but is a walkthrough instead.

When I first downloaded this level, I played through it and realized that it is really hard (and even harder to be its Ultimate Time). I made a No Gems version of it and got a 1:24-ish best time. Along the way, I find many shortcuts and harder tweaks. I didn't upload the No Gems version because it needs to be tweaked. So expect a No Gems run on this soon.

Possible improvement: 10s (or more if using harder tweaks)

Marble Blast Levels 1:

I originally aim this video to be on MBP regular levels. I decided to make it into a custom levels video.

Checkpoint Challenger: I did this tweak that takes me only 1 rebound off the pole to get the 4th Time Modifier.
Easy Run?: This is done beforehand. Lucky edge-hit there.
Final Speedrun: Finishing this level without the time restarting and some air movement is somewhat annoying.
Finished Construction 5.37: This didn't take me long. I jumped on the edge hit to give the more height.
Infinite Energy: No comment.
Slanted Ascention: I missed a 7.xx run with a different path, unfortunately. I found this path to get me a sub-9.
Speed Twist 2 (With Blast): I can't make a .rec using the blast function. This also beats its Ultimate Time.

The Wall-Hit Monster Course [No Gems] (1:24.15) -

This run is one of the most epics ones I did. It involves an unintentional edge-hit.
This video is mention earlier in one of my videos. I found this edge hit, then I didn't bother doing it because the run with this tweak is even harder. Also, this run is getting annoying because I usually miss the Time Modifiers and screwup on the wall-hits.

It is possible that this level can be improved, obviously, and using the helicopter to go near the magnets and fly to the finish, which is not shown here.

Oh I think you're running on Windows! I'm using a Mac/TextEdit.
Don't worry, you just right click on the blast.cs file, and open with Notepad, edit, and you're good to go.
Let me know if you have any questions.

I was using notepad but it still doesn't work notepad or not.

Diamond Round-Up: The only way to do Ultimate Time
Training Towers: Annoying because of quick camera turning
Learn the Random Force: That was a close one!
Mini Mountain: This took me several tries; I sometimes miss the finish pad, go to low, or miss it completely.
Loop Exits: This also took me several tries.
Gap Aimer: Caution! Aiming is needed
Ice Cold Pass: You need to time your movements

Marble Blast: Ultra Blast 1 -

My first Ultra Blast video! You will see a run on someone's path that I was able to do as well as new paths on Marble Blast levels. I can do Pitfalls (not recorded), which will be on Marble Blast: Ultra Blast 2.

Hoops (16.29) - I can't exactly do the WR path, but with the blast use on the end, I can get to the finish!

Jump jump jump (2.73) - I'm sorry for the lag/lower quality. Put this run on the video to show how the blast can be use in this way.

Daedalus (9.15) - Pascal's path! There is a tweak where I use the blast after I get the last gem, but I did it without the blast. In this run, the blast is used to help me get the 3rd gem.

Learn the Time Modifier (1.32) - Use the blast to get to the invisible moving platform
(1.07) - The WR path!

Roll Like the Wind! (12.04) - iMacmatician's path! Not hard as it looks.

Perplexingness (49.40) - Blast over the gap...

Puzzle Ordeal (19.49) - No Super Jump

Powerup Ordeal (42.81) - I discovered this path before. The blast after rebounds really helps.
(26.84) - This is the most creative and my favorite path in this video. I used the blast to help me get to the finish.

Gravity Swap: Marble Blast Gold Trailer -

I've been planning a compilation like this since I play a particular level. I just thought that I have to give you a trailer, a style similar to Matan's and iMacmatician's.
There are two ways to control gravity, one that literally flips you, and the other inverses. They can open doors to new paths.
The planned composition:
MBG Beginner
MBG Intermediate
MBG Advanced
Bloopers and Extras
The tentative release date is June 2012.
I'm also accepting song suggestions from you all. Feel free to request.

I'm impressed already—can't wait to see the real thing. I gotta get this gravity swap feature too (is it possible to change the key/button used to activate it?), although I won't do so until after this quarter of school is over (I hope).

I don't know if you can change it; I used the up and down keys (gravity=-20 and +20 respectively)

Can you give me links to the codes/files for the two types of gravity swaps? (Not to play now, but just so I have them and possibly see if I can change the key bindings.)

Elevator Travel (41.77) -

Commentary:
First, you need to time yourself to jump from the first platform.
Second, you need move to the next platforms without getting hit by the rising platforms.
Switching gravity isn't a big deal for me.
Getting to the finish is moderately easy.

I'll upload a run that's ~5 second faster.
