7 Marble Blast Gold Levels

My subsequent videos don't have this low frame rate / lag problem.

7 Marble Blast Gold levels (Scaffold 0.92, Pathways 27.77, Learning to Roll 3.22, Mine Field 3.69, Gauntlet 17.47, Whirl 9.95, Skate Park 33.64) I did. All of them (except for Whirl) have been done better, so expect some better videos soon!

Notes:
Skate Park: The 15th gem I get was actually supposed to be the last one I get, but I rebounded in the hole after getting the 14th gem instead of going out of the hole.

Pretty good runs! It was laggy for me, though.

Laggy for me, too. It's almost exactly 3.0 frames/s. Weird. I recorded the videos in iShowU at something less than 24 fps (20? 15?), imported them into Keynote (presentation app), and exported the presentation as QuickTime movie in 24 fps.

I'll try changing some settings to see if that helps.

Edit: Checked and they may be 24 fps. Weird…

Edit 2: Has to be an issue with Keynote / QuickTime export, as a test video from iShowU (no changes) worked fine.

Edit 3: A test video from CamStudio worked fine.

All runs were good, but especially Pathways and Scaffold.
Congrats!

(Bit laggy for me too), otherwise it was fine

Ski Slopes 3.89 TEST - Test video for quality

Ski Slopes 3.89. This is the original video file, I didn't import it and export it like I did with my last video.

Better, still a bit laggy.
Are you using CamStudio? If so, you might want to turn off the show mouse pointer option.

dumb level (9.60)

A smart way to beat a dumb level! The recording was made 2 months ago.

Song: Kelly Clarkson - Breakaway (that song was to go in a future video but I added it to this one by accident)

Twisting the Night Away (30.50), Battlements (23.51), and Eye of the Storm (44.34)

3 Marble Blast Gold advanced levels done. Eye of the Storm is from 3 months ago while the other two were done today.

Notes:
Eye of the Storm: Weird thing happened at 2:19 (edge hit?)

Song: Survivor - Eye of the Tiger (kinda fits with Eye of the Storm )

Time Trial 2.237 (end screen)

LOL, do I deserve to get this time? It's only been the day after I was able to successfully do the start pad trick for the first time.

Notes:
The 2.24 was from the start pad trick while the 2.25 was from an extreme fast start.

His forum registration date actually has nothing to do with how long he's been playing.

Treacherous Road (2.17, 2.07)

Notes:
2.17 run: When I first played this level, I did it the long way. But later I found this shortcut (which turns out to be almost the same one in Moshe's SELD video).
2.07 run: After I saw how the start pad trick worked, I knew it could be used with this path. But I wasn't able to pull it off until I was actually able to do the trick.

Super Bounce 2.994 (end screen)

I tried Super Bounce using the start pad trick and this is what happened!

Notes:
My next best times, 3.001 and 3.012, were done using the extreme fast start.

Mountaintop Retreat (10.32)

I want to upload a bunch of my older recordings, but first I'm going to upload my recent recordings just to catch up in that area.

Before those though, here's Mountaintop Retreat in 10.32 seconds. It's one of my best runs ever (and it's from 3 and a half months ago).

Notes:
I used the GarageGames marble to get 10.26 on this level. I was shocked, so I changed it to the regular marble, turned the demo recording on, and played the level. I hit this 10.32 on my second try.
I was so nervous after the Speed Boost (my fingers were literally shaking) that I nearly missed the Jump Boost!
I haven't beaten this time since.

Song: Kelly Clarkson - Breakaway
