Xelna: Amazing! I didn't know that was possible.

Asuul714: I'm really impressed! You should record more levels.

Bumpy Highway (14.36s) [FRAPs]

80 levels recorded, 77 of them in WR time. Levels that aren't World Record :

Ground Zero (1.12 vs 1.09)
Powerup Practice (37.xx vs 38.40) - Not sure about this one. Powerjohn25 claims to have 37.xx without proof. I'll just put the 38.40 as WR.
Byzantine Helix (6.58 vs 6.56)

The 80 includes levels like Mastering the Marble, Battlecube Finale, Thief, Daedal Helix, Arch Acropolis, Uphill Racing, Bouncing Fun, Recoil Ultra Course & Sand Storm.

Intermediate is not even finished yet and we've already shaved ~35.2 seconds off the total.

May I add that if you think that a level I've already recorded can be done faster, feel free to play it and improve it, unless it's by like... 0.01 then I'd say don't bother, except for levels like Let's Roll or Downhill Racing, etc.

I'll just go ahead and double post for an important message about how to use Bittorrent. This is mostly addressed to Asuul714, but also for everyone else. Copy/Pasted from 1st post, go take a look.

Marble Blast Platinum World Record Rampage #2 - Everyone can participate. Resolution : 1280x720 if possible.

Windows users : Please use ingame recorder (.rec files). If it's a long level with fans/tornadoes/gravity or Trapdoor Mania, you can use FRAPs (30+ fps).
MAC users : Please record your run with a program like ScreenFlow (.rec files don't work cross-platforms). Then, send them to Matan or I via BitTorrent/uTorrent. Please, only send us .avi files with muted sound as it won't encode/export otherwise. If your recording program does not output your files into .avi, use a file converter and convert it that way. We don't care about the sound, it'll be covered with music.

Matan says (HOW TO USE BITTORRENT PROPERLY) :

Get bittorrent. File -> Create new torrent.
Under source it can be a directory or a single file.
For tracker: udp://tracker.openbittorrent.com:80
Piece size: auto detect
Other: check Start Seeding, leave the rest unchecked.
Create and Save As.
You can press Attach here and attach the .torrent file
OR right click on the torrent (in bittorrent window) and then press copy magnet URI and press here. It'll show up as something like:

magnet:?xt=urn:btih:E9F89017FD7389BE3187E55709E7EB1FF926E862&dn=007nightfire-tas-gamerfreak5665.mkv&tr=http%3a//track er.tasvideos.org%3a6969/announce&ws=http%3a//archive.org/download/Gc007NightfireIn4230.4ByGamerfreak5665/007nightfire-ta s -gamerfreak5665.mkv

with obviously different text and stuff.

EDIT :

Frictional Climb (27.87s) [.rec]

EDIT 2 :

Frictional Climb (25.05s) [.rec] - Sub-25 possible, but I tried for like 5 hours... and I think that's good enough.

Cool, you can do it!

Floor Climb (26.30s) [FRAPs] - Finding a path, tweaking it and recording that time took me less than 2 hours.

I watched your loop loop video. My conclusion is... It can go sub-18 but your run is really good.

5 4 Intermediate levels remain un-recorded :

- Ramp Madness
- Wall Master
- Convoluted Helix
- Winding Steps
- Skill Zone

I think we'll manage to break the 10:00.00 mark for Intermediate Levels Total. WRR1 has 10:49.83 total.

Edit :

Convoluted Helix (5.56s) [FRAPs] - Catched 1st TT at 5.55 and catched 2nd TT at 5.56 ... Best catch is 5.52 but I'm done with this level.

Edit :

Asuul714, Dushine, Nihahhat & Xuan, whenever you can, please send me your videos. If they're .rec files, just send via email address. If recorded with FRAPs or another recording program, make sure it's in .avi format with sound muted, then zip/7zip it and send me the torrent file so I can download your videos.

Go read 1st post to know how to use BitTorrent. When I have your torrent file, you have to let your computer open so I can actually download it.

Moshe's Par Pit route. He said it can go sub-50, he isn't actually sure on sub-45.

Why would we do that? The rampage will be released by the end of May/first week of June probably. Also, if you're recording with the molten marble, don't use it. Moshe is using that marble. And you need to pick a color.

That was rude. You should let others try out as well. While there are no guarantees his would be the fastest time as anyone else can try and beat him, you should never discourage new people from joining like this.

Secondly, who gave you the power to decide when the rampage will be finished and released?
There are levels here that can take weeks to complete, and weeks more before they are tackled. Many of us have other things to do in life than just play Marble Blast. See Xelna for one.
Did you know that it also takes time for me to also record all the .recs people submit, but also receive their videos (none of the Mac users have sent me their video files so far). In the MBA rampage it took nearly two months to get all the Mac users videos' on my computer and re-encode them as well.
Furthermore, there's also the painful process of combining the videos, trimming them, getting audio that won't be blocked, exporting and a whole bunch of mess before it even goes live.

No one said a definite date. That's because we all know it can easily go and will go into the summer and likely further than that.

BlastedMarble, you should check this video for Basic Agility Course. And for the ice floor with 2 gems, a SJ and a TT, try going for the 2 gems in a straight line first, then the SJ, then the TT.

Can you go sub 26?

Edit :

I just found out how Xuan got 10.92 Orange-Fold Maze and I feel stupid not to have found that earlier.

Ramp Madness (33.14s) [FRAPs] - It took forever to beat the WR (33.32), I am bad at this level, but I think this is a pretty good time.
Wall Master (25.83s) [FRAPs] - That run was just perfect.
Skill Zone (39.10s) [FRAPs] - Intermediate levels complete!
Par Pit (41.57s) [FRAPs] - That was fast, yo.

Also, good job Blasted! I hate that level, so I'm glad you did it

WRR2 Intermediate Levels Total = 9:55.81
WRR1 Intermediate Levels Total = 10:49.83

Sub-10 minutes and improved by 54.02 seconds! Good job!
