Skyscraper



10 traplaunches on Skyscraper, all from the exact same spot (placed the marble there with the Level Editor), the first 5 are without jump, the last 5 with jump.

I think there's a certain amount of different traplaunches from the exact same spot, how many there are exactly, no idea, but it does show how random a traplaunch really is.

As you can see, traplaunches are completely skill-based. :^)

Did you check the position for each of these? I wonder if this might be caused by the slight rounding error from binary to base 10. It probably isn't, but could be worth checking. I have a hard time believeing that traplaunches are truly random since .recs give the same launch every time.

Well, I haven't touched the position of the level editor at all in between the traplaunches. And yeah, it might be caused by the slight rounding error.

If there's enough interest I might do a more extended version of this, of like 100 traplaunches.

As you can see the time modifiers ran out near the finish, but atleast it's sub-5.

A level made by Threefolder. Very fun and creative level, in which there's a certain sound notifying you when you will go back to normal gravity.

Isn't really optimized, but decent run nonetheless.

This is the current WR for this level. It can probably go lower; the edge hit at the end wasn't optimal but good enough.

Especially the part starting at 22 sec. can get annoying.. It could be possible to skip that with screenshot-glitch, but I didn't bother.
