Marble Blast Ultra: World Record Rampage

Welcome to the Marble Blast Ultra: World Record Rampage. This is a segmented speed run of MBU in MBP. Anyone can participate, but you do need recording software (Bandicam/FRAPS)

All levels must be played in MBP 1.50 (Any patch is accpetable)
Since .recs are not available for Ultra levels, you must directly record the video!
For slow computers, I recommend Bandicam ($40)
For fast computers, I recommend FPAPS ($37)

First of all, you need recording software. I recommend Bandicam or FRAPS, but you can use other software.
The video must be in 1024 x 768.
Sound is not needed.
You do not need to crop, but if you would like, cut to the first frame after starting, until the last frame before the dialogue box.
Videos must be on .avi or .mp4!

WATERMARKS ARE NOT ALLOWED!


Send your videos to julian@lachniet.com, and post the following information below:
- The level name
- Your time
- Your username



Additionally, here are the required video settings:

Full Screen, 1024 x 768, 32 bit color, No Shadows, No Live Replays, Thousands enabled, Frame rate hidden.


Please use the same marble for all videos.

Might I suggest waiting until BWRR is over for this? We are working hard to do runs for it and have just really gotten started as it was postponed for quite a while.

Yeah, wait until MBG WRR4 and BWRR are finished first BEFORE you start this.

Heh, I was planning on starting one up (although different rules than yours) after MBG WRR4 and Buzz's WRR (or towards its end, once Frostfire lets me know) and then do that with another WRR that is kept under wraps.... plus me being super busy means I won't have time for them yet but in a few months I could see myself doing those.

I agree, let BWRR finish first.

I assume; Mason (and Jeff for macs) is taking care of the videos while Regi and I are taking care of the times/rules.

WR Rampages, WR Rampages everywhere

I agree it's best to wait till the other Rampages are over, but I do appreciate your attempt to contribute to the community.

Please don't decapitate the thread.

Instead, I'll just lock it for now. Feel free to PM a staff member if you want to continue this idea at a later time and have this thread unlocked.
