An official statement about deadlines

Hi everyone,

About a week ago we released the MBP 1.20 Mac build and set an expected release date for the Windows build to come out at the end of January, but as we mentioned before our due date predictions are pretty bad. As such, we're pushing the build to a February-March release. Let's hope we don't get this one wrong, but who knows.

It's been over a year since PlatinumQuest first started and after a few months we announced it to the public. Our first announcement post mentioned a release date in 2011, which is extremely likely not to happen. Worry not, as we know that within the community there are several mods for Marble Blast which are in progress, and we believe at least 2 will be releasing this year, but no one can confirm.
Because of this lengthy development time dedicated to PlatinumQuest, we must be doing the best things the community has been yearning for... years?

Speak for yourself.

To the community: the Platinum team will have lots of goodies for you (trailers, etc.) to make up for the lengthened development period.

Nothing good happens fast.

Especially when X people haven't done Y things for Z time.

Haha yeah definitely. Though I'd say we've (we being the Platinum team but they sort of represent the MB community) been doing pretty well for not being paid anything And on top of that it's not like most of us are out of school and can spend our whole days on game development.

This announcement isn't really a surprise at all. I think we all (hopefully) understand. It was nice to warn us though

Not-so-big-but-still-bump but this is like the first time i've opened MBF and checked it for more than a month, so yeah.

You guys have brought us MBP, which, i am not gonna hide it, was FAR better than we could imagine MBG turning to. You've brought us MBR, which is also a good mod. Now you announced PQ, which, if it indeed looks like the one you presented us in the teaser, will be beyond expectations.

We can wait. You don't need to apologise. If a member posts a hate message then they have to look for althscaimer.
