This update is also available on Phil’sEmpire.com.

It is an understatement if we were to say we were swept off our feet when we received over 10 entries for the Hunt game mode competition. Several authors opted to submit two entries to the competition and this resulted in a large amount of high quality levels, which in turn made it pretty hard to decide on the winners.

The level submissions we received… wow. They were exceptionally good with attention to detail and thought as to what goes into the gameplay as well as the presentation and level design as a whole. After much deliberation (perhaps too much, as we were really over schedule with the announcement), we chose Narvoxx and Popsip as the winners.

We are stopping for a while with the level competitions as we pay our attention into development. Besides creating levels there are a lot of things we’d like to implement, fix and redo and that takes quite some time to do, but the end result is worth it. Sadly, we do not have anything to show for now, but hopefully by the end of the year we will have more to show.

- Matan, and the Platinum team

"matan, now i get what you meant a few years back when you said that "the level in mbg is beyond me" after the last rampage i noticed things were insane, and now i truly feel that too" - Dushine, 2015.

Great job, guys! Thanks to all the people who entered. Your levels can be some of the first customs for PQ.

Gratz guys, some amazing stuff came through. Special mention to everybody who wasn't in the top 2: some great level building skills were shown by you all. The levels will do great as PQ customs!

Well, that's actually kinda good because the more progress you guys make, the sooner it gets released!
