With many thanks to Spy, we are on the final coding stuff of the Checkpoint (I've yet to hit him with achievements, level/egg completion and teleporter). I've decided we'll use the MBU sound of the female (I don't want mine, even though it's already made). Find it in the attached link. Phil, put the texturing of the pad as first priority so that I can add the checkpoint already to the next version and add it in some levels. While you're at it, do MAC!

Regarding the Easter Egg, please download the attached file in the link below which has several sounds (I gave some of them the Unknown so you won't know which ones they are ), some are unused in MBU. My question is -> which would you like to see as the new EE sounds of 'Found for the first time' and 'Already Found'? Please post here.

In my opinion, Unknown Usage 8.wav should be used for Found for the first time, and Unknown Usage 1.wav should be used for Already Found.

Btw, it's awesome that the checkpoint is so close to completion! I can't wait to see it (or the other codes in planning)!

I reckon 9 for first time and 10 for already found. Is the checkpoint working with 2 / 3 vector rotation yet?

Apparently it works with everything, it's not the gravity that's the problem, it's the spawning position when the marble comes back to course.

I prefer 8 (as Andrew said) for the first time, then 6 for every time after that. 2 seems a bit bland, and 9 seems a little too exciting for going with you already found the easter egg, brings on a kind of slightly enthusiastic feel, but not overly dramatic.

I think we should get a dts that doesn't look like a pad, it seems like you should be able to activate it by going over it then. If we could make it something more like the disk in MBU, with no collision mesh. Unless we could make it like the other pads, but even now it looks too much like the pads in MBA. I think we should try a new dts...

Ah yes and I'll only implement Checkpoints right now and as we move in versions I'll add to more levels the checkpoint. In fact, you might find the current version with some checkpoints in levels

Manual on how to use checkpoints will be added to next version.

How would YOU like it to be improved them?

Also, my best new time on MAC is ~24 secs with Phil's conversion. No way sub-10 is done and sub-20 maybe barely but im not in that mood. Tough as!

I don't really like the checkpoint graphics either... if anything I'd say remove the text and see how it looks. Add a slight particle effect to make it glow perhaps.

I think it looks fine, but it should be flatter because we want it to make as little of a difference in gameplay as possible so a large one like that would make a big dif.
