Choose which marble you'd rather see in-game!

1) Plain ol'


2) 3-D


3) Mid 'P'




3-D and Mid 'P' can be found on the FTP under /Matan folder as Ball1 and Ball2 ZIP files.

Mid P is a great idea. I suggest making the P in the middle a different colour, firstly to make it noticeable, and secondly to make the marble more substantial.

Remember if there's one thing we should keep constant in MarbleBlast Platinum it's the fact that you play as a marble. Perhaps we could make parts of a sphere slightly transparent and have a P inside that, it wouldn't be as noticeable but the marble would actually be a marble and you would be able to see it if you looked for it.

I like the 3-D one becsuse when I tested the Mid 'P' I got this:



Not to mention it looks smaller imo..

We must also keep customization in mind—no one will be able to make their own marbles when the game is released if we use the 3-D one.

I'm actually planning to implement a Choose Marble option. I've not checked if it's possible, but if it is, you can select pre-made marbles and custom marbles (so people can make their marbles and choose them freely in-game).

Oh there's a MBU code for Marble Select ^^ I actually know how to do these and what codes are attached to it.

I vote 3D, but if people customised it, wouldn't there be a bit in the marble that stuck out in the shape of a circle and a 'P'? I don't know how it was made, but I assume it was told to make that shape stick out no matter what pattern the marble had on it. I'll give it a test.



EDIT: You can't customise the ball at all, you just get a white ball with the circle and P sticking out.
