Ok, let me put it in an example:

Take ice.jpg and its interior: ice_3x3.dif

It's slippery. Very.

Now, take that texture and make a copy of it and call it ice2.jpg and make a new interior: ice2_3x3.dif.

This texture gets new friction values so that the interiors that use it... are not the ones that you'd be familiar with.

That new interior could be... a bumper (or a trampoline), water, sand, carpet... makes me think of Dragged Up! using ice2.jpg as the carpet/rug LOL coz then you'd go up ICE like wtf m8 hahah

Anyway, a normal looking floor could end up being SPACE or OIL!!! How fun is that?

This is basically the Fake Floors idea... What you guys think?

Sorry to be so blunt... but... BAD IDEA.

One might as well delete all graphic texture differentiation if it not be equivalent to the texture itself.

We could always make a small mark to separate the real from the fake ones. Besides, think of the fun it can hold, not just the bad stuff. Jeez, you're always against stuff. Give it a go before saying bad.

Yeah Matan this is a bad idea It would be cool for a puzzle game or for one or two levels, but I would not want to worry about rolling normally and then all of a sudden being messed up.
