Hey guys,
If you have a level assigned to you and it has a moving platform, this MAP file will come in handy...
Find on the FTP under my root folder a MAP file called mbp_ttotts.map . This is a current in-progress level by Phil and I and I added there massive amounts of Moving Platforms with TriggerGoToTargets.
Use that MAP file to make your own moving platforms in your replicas.
Simply copy paste the door_elevator, path_node and any other requirements into the MAP file of which you are assigned to.
To activate the MP in game, you gotta be a PC guy (I think)...
Simply press Start->Run and enter this:
C:\Documents and Settings\Matan\Desktop\Marble Blast Platinum marbleblast.exe -test mbp_ttotts.dif
Change the location at the start (between the quotes) to where your MBP folder is.
If it doesn't work, ask Phil (email him asap!).
This will now load the level with all the moving platforms.
When you do your assigned level, NOTE HOW THE ORDER OF THINGS ARE (door elevator, then path node, then triggers). I don't know how to make it myself, but copy-paste off that map for an easier time.
Now, when you make the level, (eg MMG), simply add the platform, then save and then do the -test thing above. Next, take the .mis file from your level (say MMG) and copy paste it into the .mis file it makes in your Marble Blast Platinum/marble/data/missions folder (testMission.mis to be excat) and then modify that .mis as needed. For MMG, you just need to add everything except for the pinball_0.dif interior.
As well, you can modify that interior..
Take MMG and make a simple one that just goes back and forth.
Next, you copy the markers in MMG and paste them in the MP for the testMission.mis and you got your MP modified in its path.
Next, take the interior itself (mmg.dif) and all the rest of the data and replace. Delete the pinball_0.dif and you're done.
